摘要： A wipe unit cleans a recording head having an ink discharge surface on which an ink discharge opening that discharges an ink onto a recording medium opens. The wipe unit includes a wiper and a collecting tray. The wiper wipes off an ink forcibly extruded from the ink discharge opening. The collecting tray is arranged under the wiper. The collecting tray collects the ink wiped off with the wiper. The collecting tray includes a discharge port and a plurality of ribs. The discharge port discharges the collected ink downward, and the plurality of ribs are arranged so as to surround a peripheral area of the discharge port and arranged with a predetermined interval from one another in a circumferential direction of the discharge port.

摘要： An ink supply device includes a plurality of ink containers, a plurality of heater units, a frame, a lower fixing member and an upper fixing member. In the ink container, ink is stored. The heater units are arranged in a horizontal arrangement direction. The heater unit includes a tube in which the ink fed from the ink container is passed, a hearer heating the ink passing through the tube and a casing by which the tube and the heater are supported. In the frame, the ink containers and the heater units are stored. The lower fixing member is fixedly mounted to the frame and holds all lower portions of the heater units. The upper fixing member is detachably mounted to the frame and holds all upper portions of the heater units.

摘要： In an image forming apparatus including a fixing unit and a storage part, the fixing unit includes: two rollers forming a fixing nip part; a pressure adjustment mechanism varying fixing nip pressure; one driving input gear receiving: a rotational power in a first direction for driving the two rollers and a rotational power in a second direction for actuating the pressure adjustment mechanism; and a gear cover supporting, with a long hole, a bearing supporting a rotary shaft of the driving input gear. The gear cover has a convex part, and the storage part has a receiving part supporting the bearing of the driving input gear at time of insertion of the fixing unit. The receiving part has a concave part fitted with the convex part of the gear cover moving with respect to the bearing of the driving input gear at the time of insertion of the fixing unit.

摘要： A fixing device includes a separation plate, an arm member, an axial member, a support bracket, and a temperature sensor. The separation plate is disposed spaced apart from a peripheral surface of a heating rotating body by a predetermined clearance distance K2. The separation plate separates a recording medium having passed through between the heating rotating body and a pressing roller from the heating rotating body. The arm member holds the temperature sensor by using one end portion thereof. The axial member extends in parallel to a rotating shaft of the heating rotating body and rotatably supports the other end portion of the arm member. The support bracket supports the separation plate. The support bracket is provided with a sensor abutting portion that abuts the temperature sensor held by the arm member to restrict a clearance distance between the temperature sensor and the heating rotating body.

The pressure adjustment mechanism changes a pressing posture of the first and second rollers. The drive input gear device receives a torque of a first rotational direction around an axis of the gear device and another toque of a second rotational direction. The ratchet mechanism, when the drive input gear device receives the torque of the first rotational direction, transmits the torque to the first roller, and in the case of the torque of the second rotational direction, suspends a torque transmission. When the drive input gear device receives the torque of the second rotational direction, the transmission mechanism exerts a driving force to the pressure adjustment mechanism. The drive input gear device includes a housing portion housing a part of the ratchet mechanism.
