Abstract:
A lubricator so constructed that a cover provided with a substantially horizontal air conduit including an orifice extending therethrough and formed in its upper side with a supply hole extending therethrough to the orifice is received on the oil cup, a transparent oil drop cylinder including a drop hole extending through its upper side is connected to the supply hole, an adjusting cap integrally provided with a needle valve downwardly projecting from the center of its upper side in alignment with the drop hole and serving to control an aperture of the drop hole is fitted around the oil drop cylinder through thread engagement with the cover or the drop cylinder, an oil reservoir within the oil cup is communicated with the drop hole, and a quantity of oil supplied to the drop hole and dropped through the drop hole into the oil drop cylinder under a suction effect of a pressure differential produced between a pressure acting on the oil surface within the oil cup and a pressure within the orifice is controlled by adjusting the aperture of the drop hole through rotation of the adjusting cap.
Abstract:
A detably attaching mechanism for a cup of a lubricator or a filter used with an air-actuated device comprising such cup containing therein a quantity of lubrication oil or filter elements, means to supply a quantity of lubrication oil from the cup into an air stream flowing from an inlet to an outlet or to introduce the air stream through the filter elements contained within the cup, a cover mounted on the cup and a protective cylinder mounted around the cup, characterized by that the protective cylinder is provided on its outer periphery with a locking piece adapted to have its front or top end being outwardly tilted away from the outer periphery of the protective cylinder by depressing its rear or lower end and this locking piece is mounted with interposition of an elastically flexible leg on the outer periphery of the protective cylinder and that the cover is provided in its outer periphery with receiving means adapted to receive the front or top end of the locking piece upon completion of attachment of the cup and the protective cylinder to the cover and thereby to prevent rotation of the cup and the protective cylinder relative to the cover.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for preparing a large and perfect oxide crystal useful for oxide superconductors and laser transmitting elements. In the present method for preparing a large oxide single crystalline material such as superconductive crystals of RE123, a crystal precursor material is supercooled prior to the solidification thereof in the course of crystal growth of the oxide by a supercooling solidification process, followed by subjecting said precursor material to continuous slow heating while keeping the supercooled condition to promote crystal growth, as shown in FIG. 7. Seed crystals may be added to the crystal precursor material prior to solidification, if necessary, as also shown in FIG. 7.
