    摘要： A printhead is provided having elongate printhead modules arranged to aggregately extend across a pagewidth and controllers for processing print data into dot data and for controlling the printhead modules in accordance with the dot data. Each printhead module has plural rows of ink ejection nozzles. The nozzle rows of at least one of the printhead modules are longer than the nozzle rows of the other printhead modules. The controllers control ink ejection of the nozzles of the printhead modules in accordance with the dot data. At least one of the controllers is arranged to control all of the printhead modules and at least one other of the controllers is arranged to control only one of the printhead modules.

    摘要： A method of interacting with a product item is provided. The product item comprises a product contained in a package, the package having an interface surface containing information relating to the product, the interface surface having disposed thereon coded data identifying a product identity and a plurality of locations on the interface surface. The method comprises the step of: (a) sensing at least some of the coded data in the vicinity of the sensing device when a user interacts with the product item by placing a sensing device in an operative position relative to the interface surface; (b) generating indicating data using at least some of the sensed coded data, said indicating data comprising data regarding the identity of the product item and a position of the sensing device relative to the interface surface; and (c) sending the indicating data to a computer system. The method enables the computer system to identify the interaction between the user and the product item.

    摘要： A printer controller for supplying dot data to an inkjet printhead is provided. The printhead comprises a plurality of transversely aligned color channels. Each color channel comprises at least one nozzle row extending longitudinally along the printhead with each nozzle in a color channel ejecting the same colored ink. The printhead is comprised of a plurality of printhead modules with each printhead module comprising a respective segment of each nozzle row. The printer controller is programmed to supply dot data such that each of the printhead modules fires a respective segment within a predetermined segment-time, wherein at least one of the fired segments is contained in a different color channel from at least one other of the fired segments.
