摘要:
A motor control system capable of outputting motor control data contained in a numeric control device and inputting motor control data to the numeric control device as required, without using a proprietary connector and/or a switching unit. The control system has a numeric control device, a plurality of motor amplifiers for receiving a command from the numeric control device via a serial communication line, a plurality of motors such as servomotors each driven by each of the plurality of motor amplifiers, and a data I/O device for inputting and outputting motor control data, as analog data or digital data, included in software in the numeric control device. The data I/O device may also transmit motor control data, to the numeric control device, as analog or digital data.

An analog amplifier performs control of a motor at the speed in proportion to a speed instruction (analog voltage) outputted from a numerical control device. The speed instruction (analog value) is converted into a digital value by an A/D converter and is then sent to a CPU. When the CPU judges that the received digital value corresponding to the speed instruction deviates from a predetermined range, the CPU stops sending out an enable signal, and sends out an emergency stop signal. As a result, the CPU stops electric power supply to the analog amplifier, and also invalidates the speed instruction sent to the analog amplifier 20, thereby performing control to make the speed of the motor become “0”.

An error decoding circuit comprises a syndrome computing circuit for computing a syndrome on a receive data, an error detecting circuit for detecting an error based on the syndrome, an error pattern computing circuit for computing an error pattern based on the syndrome, and an inverting circuit for performing an error correction of a receive data based on the computed error pattern. Only when there is an error in the receive data, based on the detection result of the error detecting circuit, a request signal for extension of a bus cycle is outputted to a bus master. On the other hand, if there is no error in the receive data, an inputted data is outputted to a data bus without correction. By so doing, the high speed operation of the data bus is executed.

A motor control system includes a first-type amplifier that receives a PWM instruction, a second-type amplifier that receives a positional instruction, a numerical control device, and a serial bus. The numerical control device includes a first processor that calculates a positional instruction of a motor, a DSP that calculates a PWM instruction of the first-type amplifier from the positional instruction, and a serial bus control circuit that outputs the PWM instruction of the first-type amplifier and the positional instruction of the second-type amplifier to the serial bus. The first-type amplifier generates a drive current signal of a motor directly from the received PWM instruction. The second-type amplifier includes a third processor that calculates a PWM instruction from the received positional instruction.

In a servo control system, a numerical control device and at least one servo amplifier are connected to each other with a serial bus to control a servo motor connected to the servo amplifier. In this system, data transfer systems of at least two types for the serial bus are set, and a data transfer system is selected by a parameter set in the numerical control device.

An amplifier (unit) linked via a daisy type serial bus sends a transmission start signal SC and then sends the local data DATAn. If data from an amplifier at the downstream side is not received before transmission of the local data DATAn is completed, the delimit of the data from each amplifier is changed by adding an idle time data TIDD.

A data table stored in a numerical controller associates motors controlled by the numerical controller with information from sensors used by the motors. When the numerical controller is turned on, the contents of the data table are sent from the numerical control section to the motor control section. The motor control section controls each motor by using information from the sensors associated with the motor in the data table.

A numerical controller and a servomotor control system, capable of axis control required in case of a communication failure in the control of servomotors driven by servo amplifiers connected to a plurality of serial buses. The numerical controller has a plurality of serial buses to which the numerical controller and a plurality of servo amplifiers are daisy-chain-connected and controls servomotors connected individually to the servo amplifiers. The device comprises a plurality of communication control circuits for detecting respective communication failures of the serial buses and selecting means for selecting whether or not to notify the other communication control circuits of a communication failure, if any, of any one of the communication control circuits detected thereby. In the control of the servomotors driven by the servo amplifiers connected to the serial buses, an output of a servo amplifier connected to a serial bus that suffers a communication failure is reduced to 0 so that outputs to the servo amplifiers connected to the remaining normal serial buses can be maintained.

A table containing correspondence between “n” and “m” is set in a control circuit of a servo control system so that the current command data in the m-th (m=1, 2, 3 . . . ) current command register is assigned to the n-th (n=1, 2, 3 . . . ) servo amplifier. When data is specified in this table to satisfy “n=m”, the current command data in the n-th current command register is passed to the n-th servo amplifier. When “m=1” is set for “n=1” and “m=1” is set for “n=2” in this table, the current command data stored in the first current command register is passed to the first and second servo amplifiers.
