    摘要: A flexible coupling 10 is constituted such that a drive-side plate 11 and an intermediate plate 13 are interconnected by first connection members 14A to 14D having a rubber member in such a manner that they can move in a direction perpendicular to a direction for interconnecting pin members 15a and 15b for mounting the above first connection members 14A to 14B, and the intermediate plate 13 and a driven-side plate 12 are interconnected by second connection members 16A to 16D having the same constitution as the above first connection members 14A to 14D and arranged perpendicular to the above first connection members 14A to 14D in such a manner that they can move in a direction perpendicular to the above direction. Torque on the drive side can be transmitted to the driven side efficiently with simple constitution and the flexible coupling can be easily mounted.

    摘要: In order to develop sufficient vibration damping performance and effectively prevent transmission of goading vibrations and others in a vibration damping device using an electrorheological fluid, if the moving directions of vibration input side member and vibration output side member of the device are opposite to each other, a voltage applied to electrodes in the device is increased to increase the viscosity of the electrorheological fluid, while if absolute value of vibration acceleration velocity in the vibration input side member exceeds a given value, a voltage applied to the electrodes is always decreased to decrease the viscosity of the fluid.

    摘要: A vibration damping device comprises two cylindrical and flexible membrane members liquid-tightly connected at its end portion to respective end portion of a piston member and at its other end portions to respective face plates, a connecting member connecting the face plates to each other to form a closed chamber, a liquid filled in the closed chamber, and fastening members arranged onto the piston member and face plate, respectively. Moreover, at least one restricted passage is formed in the piston member or the connecting member. When an electrorheological fluid is used as a liquid, electrodes are arranged on opposed walls of the restricted passage.
