Abstract:
The type of an outside line acquired at the time of placing an outside-line call is identified, and an idle outside line of this same type is acquired when a call is placed to a party in an auto-repeat mode, thereby establishing the call to the party. Further, types of outside lines acquired preferentially at the time of originating an outside-line call are registered in advance, and idle outside lines are selected and acquired in accordance with the order of preference.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method of setting and confirmation of a value indicative of an on-hook period of a terminal is provided. The value is used as a threshold when distinguishing a hooking pulse for putting communication on hold which is issued by the terminal, from disconnection of a call on the terminal.
Abstract:
There is provided a key telephone system for transmitting and receiving a dial number by a peculiar control signal between a main unit and an extension telephone. The system comprises: an extension telephone; a main unit; an analyzing unit for analyzing an audio signal; and a calling unit for calling in accordance with the result by the analysis of the analyzing means. The calling unit generates a dial pulse. When a calling request from the extension telephone is detected, the main unit connects the extension telephone and the analyzing unit. Information generated by an electronic apparatus via which the dial number can be independently registered from an extension telephone of the KTs is analyzed and calling or displaying can be executed.
Abstract:
A line switching apparatus includes receiving circuitry for receiving a line-connection request signal from an extension, discriminating circuitry for determining whether a connection is possible to the line when the connection request signal is received from the receiving circuitry, sending circuitry for sending a busy signal to the extension when the discriminating circuitry determines that connection to the line is impossible, detecting circuitry for monitoring the status of the line during sending of the busy signal by the sending circuitry, and detecting that the line is in a connectable state, and alarm circuitry for informing the extension of the fact that the line has been detected to be in the connectable state by the detecting circuitry.
Abstract:
A transfer apparatus which calls a predetermined transferring destination number when an incoming call on a communication line is detected. The transfer apparatus compares a calling-party number received on an incoming-call received line with the predetermined transferring destination number, and if they do not coincide, the transfer apparatus calls the predetermined transferring destination number; however if they coincide, the transfer apparatus does not perform transferring operation. Accordingly, meaningless transmission such as to transfer an incoming call received from a calling party who is located in the transferring destination can be obviated.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus including a plurality of transmitting unit for transmitting signals at high or low power, and setting unit for setting alteration patterns of transmission power of the plurality of transmitting unit.
Abstract:
A key telephone system having user-friendly electronic directory function in which dialling numbers more than the number of abbreviated dialling numbers can be registered and the number of digits of abbreviated dialling number is maintained to a small number by treating separately an abbreviated dialling data and other directory data upon registration of data. Further, the content of a retrieved directory data can be registered as an abbreviated dialling number. In the system, a necessary number of data can be registered in the directory, and calling operation using an abbreviated dialling number can be made with a fixed number of digits of abbreviated dialling number regardless of the number of abbreviated dialling numbers. Further, registration of abbreviated dialling number can be performed effectively.
Abstract:
A telephone exchange system accommodates a plurality of central office lines and a plurality of telephones and records a telephonic communication in a recording area shared by the plurality of telephones. When predetermined conditions are satisfied, the recording is played back or transferred. The shared recording area can be utilized effectively by erasing a recording after it has been transferred, and by detecting the presence of a voice during a telephonic communication and starting and stopping the recording operation based upon the results of detection. The time at which a recording has been made can be comprehended in the form of a voice when the recording is played back.
Abstract:
Two telephone numbers, one for an outside call and one for an extension call, are registered for each of a plurality of one-touch buttons through a procedure the same as that used in placing a call conventionally and without providing new buttons. When an input designating an outside call is made before pressing a one-touch button, the party corresponding to the outside telephone number is called. When an input designating an outside call is not made before pressing a one-touch button, an extension telephone corresponding to the extension call telephone number is called. Since the same one-touch call designating button can thus be used for both an extension call and an outside call, many telephone numbers can be registered with a small number of buttons.
