A sheet feeding device includes a pickup roller, a feed roller, a feed holder and a mounting part. The pickup roller rotates around a first rotating shaft and then to feed a sheet. The feed holder supports the first rotating shaft. To the mounting part, the feed holder is mounted and dismounted. The mounting part has a pair of guide grooves. The feed holder has a pair of guide shafts protruding in a direction parallel to the first rotating shaft. The pair of guide shafts are guided along the pair of guide grooves. The pair of guide shafts are formed on an axis line different from an axis line of the first rotating shaft.

A toner container of a given type is removably mounted on the mounting portion. The detecting device detects whether or not the toner container has been mounted on the mounting portion. The toner container and the mounting portion respectively include an engaging protrusion and an engaging hole. The engaging protrusion and the engaging hole are engageable with one another. The engaging protrusion and the engaging hole engaged with one another causes the detecting device to detect that the toner container has been mounted on the mounting portion. The engaging protrusion and the engaging hole are of form configured according to the toner container type.

The image forming section includes a plurality of image forming units that individually form images of different colors. The chart creation section inputs, to the image forming section, the image data of a chart including first lines containing a reference color and a stepped image located between the first lines and that has second lines containing an adjustment color. The input section receives the input of an adjustment value selected based on a chart formed by the image forming section. In response to the adjustment value, the color shift correction section moves the image forming position of the image forming unit forming the image of the adjustment color with respect to the image forming position of the image forming unit forming the image of the reference color.

The first positioning portions are arranged at the intermediate transfer unit and the frame. An image forming apparatus includes an image forming apparatus body, a first driving mechanism, a first drive unit, an image carrier, a developing device, and a biasing member. The first drive unit includes an input unit to which a rotary drive power is transmitted from the first driving mechanism. The developing device is removably attachable to the image forming apparatus body. The biasing member biases the developing device toward the image carrier side. The developing device includes a developing roller supplying toner onto the image carrier, and a developing unit housing and supporting the developing roller. The first drive unit is located at one end portion in an axial direction of the developing roller. The developing unit swings to come close to the image carrier by the biasing member biasing the developing unit. The developing unit is swingable with respect to the first drive unit.
