Abstract: The present invention relates to acquisition of medical image information of an object. In order to provide a user-friendly alignment of X-ray tube and a detector, optionally combined with an anti-scatter grid, an alignment arrangement is proposed, which comprises a tube attachment with a first light projection device and a detector attachment with a second light projection device. The first and second light projection devices each generate a light pattern on a projection surface. The tube attachment and the detector attachment can be brought into a correct spatial arrangement relative to each other by bringing the first light pattern in a predetermined spatial relation with the second light pattern on the projection surface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a patient interface and a patient interface system comprising a responsive material and a method for preventing the formation of red marks due to wearing a patient interface (10) that is pressing against the skin of a patient (14) for a longer time and/or for reducing air leakages of the patient interface (10) that may result from an unintended shift of the patient interface (10) on the patient's face. The responsive material is configured for alternating the pressure exerted by the cushion element (18, 26) on the patient (14), and/or the area on the patient where the pressure is exerted by the cushion element in response to a physical quantity acting on the responsive material. The formation of red marks and of air leakages can be reduced or even avoided by means of the responsive material.

Abstract: A valve comprises a housing in which a movable valve element having first and second valve members is disposed. A plurality of ports are disposed in the housing, and first and second seal portions are connected to the housing. At least one of the first seal portion and the first valve member is deformable such that, when only the first seal portion is in a sealed configuration with the first valve member, deformation allows the second seal portion to be brought into a sealed configuration with the second valve member, and/or at least one the second seal portion and the second valve member is deformable such that, when only the second seal portion is in a sealed configuration with the second valve member, deformation allows the first seal portion to be brought into a sealed configuration with the first valve member.
