A method for filtering user information takes into account not only specific keywords in the user information, but also related user-characteristic data (e.g., user activity data), and allows targeted user characteristics to be determined from multiple aspects of user activities. In one aspect, the disclosed method adopts different filtering schemes for different types of targeted users to improve the recognition accuracy with respect to the target user information. The method determines a suitable filtering scheme using a correspondence relationship between the filtering scheme and keywords and user-characteristic data. The method uses modeling of sample users and multiple candidate filtering schemes to formulate targeted filtering scheme. An apparatus for implementing the method is also disclosed.

A collaboration request may be sent to a host or a peripheral when a job is to be processed. The job may include one or more tasks. The host determines which device is better suited to act as host by analyzing the type of task or job to be executed and the capabilities of the host and peripheral. If the peripheral is better suited to act as host, the host and peripheral swap roles and control of a task or job is transferred to the peripheral. The host and peripheral may return to their default roles once the task or job is complete.

The buffer is configured to receive a stream of samples of audio data. The clock generator is configured to generate a first clock signal. The bus controller is configured to read samples from the buffer for transmission across a bus using the first clock signal. The bus receiver is configured to receive samples from the bus controller and output a sampling clock along with each sample. The control module is configured to analyze activity of the buffer and modify operation of the bus controller to synchronize the sampling clock with a remote sampling clock. The access point includes an audio content module, a decoding module, and a network interface that wirelessly transmits the stream of samples.

A method is provided for managing the scheduling of a plurality of print jobs for a print shop. The method includes obtaining a print job input stream including the plurality of print jobs. Each of the plurality of print jobs is scheduled for processing unless at least one of the plurality of print jobs is determined to be a disturbance job, the disturbance job causing delays in processing of other print jobs in the plurality of print jobs that would not occur but for the existence of the disturbance job in the print job input stream. The disturbance job is then assigned a processing related value that decreases over time, and scheduling of the disturbance job is delayed until the processing related value is less than a selected threshold value.

A system and method for modeling gradient coil operation induced magnetic field drift include a computer programmed to acquire a pulse sequence to be applied during an MR scan and determine a power spectrum of a plurality of gradient pulses of the pulse sequence. The computer is also programmed to calculate a drift of the magnetic field attributable to application of the plurality of gradient pulses by the plurality of gradient coils during application of the pulse sequence and apply the pulse sequence during the MR scan. The computer is further programmed to acquire MR data based on application of the pulse sequence, correct the acquired MR data based on the calculated drift of the magnetic field, and reconstruct an image based on the corrected MR data.
