    摘要: A needle guard mechanism for sewing machines aims at stabilizing needles during lowering for stitching operation to prevent needle wobbling caused by high speed motion thereby to avoid the needles from breaking or skipping. The needle guard mechanism adopts an independent design to adjust needle lowering and lifting time separately. The mechanism includes a needle guard and a transmission mechanism. The needle guard consists of a movable member, a front needle guard straddled on the movable member and a rear needle guard fastened to the movable member. The transmission mechanism provides a force to drive the movable member to move reciprocally so that the front needle guard swings in the opposite direction against the reciprocal motion thereby it moves close to the rear needle guard to hold the lowering needles steadily to prevent needle wobbling.

    摘要: An automatic thread cutting apparatus for sewing machines to cut off a thread and hold the remaining portion of bottom yarns after sewing operation is completed includes a thread cutter, a linkage mechanism and a driver. The thread cutter includes a cutting blade and an upper and a lower fixed blade. The cutting blade has a first cutting section and a second cutting section. When the driver provides power to drive the linkage mechanism, the cutting blade is swung between the upper and lower fixed blades. The thread is cut off by the first cutting section and the bottom yarns are cut off by the second cutting section and held for use in the successive sewing operation without the need of redoing yarn threading.

    摘要: A differential feeding mechanism of the front and rear translation gears of a transverse shuttle-type sewing machine can adjust the fabric feeding speeds of the front and rear translation gears. A main shaft coupled to the power source of the sewing machine is used to drive a front and a rear rocking shafts parallel to but not coaxial with the main shaft to swing up and down, which further drives the front and rear translation gears to feed fabric in. The front and rear rocking shafts are separately pivotedly coupled to front and rear swing arms to form a swing unit. Counter balance weights are pivotedly installed to the swing unit. Shift elements are pivotedly installed to the counter balance weights, which can control the ranges of the planar to-and fro travels of the front and rear translation gears and creates different effects of the sewing thread.

    摘要: A structure of a motor driven driving mechanism of a sewing machine comprises a motor mounted on one side of the sewing machine and a driving mechanism disposed inside the frame of the sewing machine driven by the motor. A rotor shaft extends out of the cover, the rotor shaft comprises a connecting portion for connecting with the driving mechanism, and at least one resilient element is disposed on two sides of the connecting portion for connecting the connecting portion with the driving mechanism. Since the rotor shaft rotatably drives the driving mechanism, therefore frictional or ramming effects among the assembly parts can be eliminated or at least substantially reduced. Thus noise during operation and the damage to the mechanical parts can be effectively reduced.
