摘要: The present disclosure relates various approaches for removing or reducing the effects of out-of-field sources of radiation if emission tomography applications. In certain embodiments, a plurality of measured views are acquired about an organ or region of interest. The measured views may be reconstructed to form an image and the image may be used in a cleaning or correction process that allows generation of a final image having reduced or eliminated artifacts attributable to out-of-field source effects.

摘要: The present disclosure relates approaches for removing or reducing the effects of motion in parallel and non-parallel data acquisitions using a nuclear medicine imaging system. In certain embodiments, translation vectors are derived based on a registration performed on transaxial slices generated from the acquired projection data. The translation vectors may be employed to update a system matrix such that images generated using the updated system matrix are free or motion artifacts or have reduced motion artifacts.

摘要: Systems and methods for medical imaging are provided. One method includes obtaining image information including timing information and obtaining motion information corresponding to an external movement by a patient being imaged. Obtaining the motion information includes detecting motion of the patient with a sensing device that does not engage the patient. The motion information includes motion timing information. The method further includes associating the motion information with the image information using the image timing information and the motion timing information. The method further includes forming an image representative of a portion of the patient using the associated image and motion information.

摘要: Systems and methods for medical imaging are provided. One method includes obtaining image information including timing information and obtaining motion information corresponding to an external movement by a patient being imaged. 摘要: An optical device has an electrically insulating first barrier layer disposed over a first electrode layer, a photoconductive layer disposed over the first barrier layer, and a carrier confining layer disposed over the photoconducting layer. The carrier confining layer defines a volume throughout which a plurality of carrier traps are dispersed. Further, an electrically insulating second barrier layer is disposed over the carrier confining layer, a light blocking layer is disposed over the second barrier layer for blocking light of a selected wavelength band. A reflective layer is disposed over the light blocking layer for reflecting light within the selected wavelength band, a birefringent or dispersive layer is disposed over the reflective layer, and an optically transmissive second electrode layer is disposed over the birefringent or dispersive layer. A method is also disclosed, as are additional layers intervening between those detailed above.

The method includes obtaining an image data set of a region of interest in an object, defining a first area that includes a plurality of pixels surrounding a pixel in the image data set, rotating and reflecting the first area to identify at least one different second area that includes a structure that is similar to a second structure defined in the first area, and generating an image having reduced noise using the rotated and reflected area.

摘要: A method, device and computer program are detailed for modulating write light. For a plurality of pixel locations of an electro-optic layer of an optical write valve and across each of a plurality of consecutive frames, a set of pixel data bits is modulated across a first and a second pulse width period of the frame. The first and second pulse width periods, and adjacent pulse periods of sequential frames, are separated from one another by a pulse-off period that is at least equal to a response time of the electro-optic layer during which no bits are modulated. Separately in each frame, write light is output from each of the plurality of pixel locations according to the modulated pixel data bits in the frame. In an embodiment, the set of pixel data bits are modulated by applying a voltage at a pixel location of the electro-optic layer in synchronism with illuminating a light source that illuminates that pixel location.
