Each long bone has an upper end thereof coupled with a pin of the upper nest, and the sleeve of each middle disk is fitted over a middle part of the long bone. Each short bone has an upper end thereof coupled with the pin of the middle disk, and a lower end thereof coupled with a pin of the lower nest. Thereby, an improved member structure for an umbrella framework is formed.

摘要： An umbrella opening mechanism adapted to open an umbrella comprising a shank having a central bore, a crown fixed to a top end of the shank, a runner movable along the shank and rib-stretcher sets connected between the crown and the runner for supporting an umbrella canopy is disclosed. The umbrella opening mechanism includes a winding device manually controlled by a crank arm. A first rope which has a first end fixed to the winding device and is capable to be wound onto the winding device extend through the central bore of the shank with a second end thereof attached to a movable connection element. Two pulleys are fixed to the shank and arranged in two radial holes defined in the shank proximate the crown and in communication with the central bore. A second rope has a center point fixed in the central bore and two half sections slidably extending through and supporting the connection element. Each half section has an end extending out of the shank through the corresponding radial hole and supported by the pulley to be fixed to the runner at two opposite sides. By actuating the winding device to wind the first rope, the connection element is moved and the second rope is pulled into the shank thereby driving the runner toward the crown and thus opening the umbrella.

A connector is movably fit over the central post below the runner and is connected by a pull bar to the intermediate collar. The connector includes a fixing member engageable and fixable to the central post.

摘要： A cushioning device for umbrella includes a first gear, a plate spring, a bolt, and a second gear collectively arranged in a hollow chamber defined between a side cover and a casing. The umbrella has a central post to which an axially-extending toothed rack is mounted. The side cover and the casing of the cushioning device are mounted to the runner of the umbrella to have the second gear mating the rack of the central post. The first gear and the second gear of the cushioning device mate each other. The first gear has a surface to which the plate spring and the bolt are mounted. Rotating the bolt to different extents of tightness makes the plate spring apply different depression forces to the first gear, which changes the frictional resistance between the first gear and the casing. The frictional resistance is transmitted through the second gear and the rack to the central post to form a cushioning resistance between the central post and the runner, making the opening operation of the umbrella gentle and safe.

摘要： A furniture frame includes an assembly of a front frame, a pair of side racks, and a rear board. The front frame includes a closed frame structure made of a tubular member and forms four fitting lugs at a rear side portion thereof in a symmetric manner. The two side racks are made of tubular members to each assume a lying U-shaped structure and each lying-U-shape has an open side at which free ends of limbs of the U-shape each form a bent section. The two side racks are of a symmetric arrangement and structure so that the bent sections are respectively fit into the fitting lugs to demonstrate an expanding resiliency between the connection sections of the two side racks. The rear board is a flat plate having opposite edges that are bent in an arc form to construct pawls thereon, and the pawls on the opposite edges of the rear board are sized and positioned to respectively receive and thus engage the connection sections of the side racks. With such a structural arrangement, the front frame, the side racks, and the rear board can be efficiently assembled together without use of tool to thereby provide a stable and firm furniture frame.

摘要： An umbrella structure includes a shaft, a top notch fixed at the top end of the shaft, a runner mounted around and slidable along the shaft, plural ribs, plural stretchers, a canopy, and plural torsion springs. Each rib has an upper end pivotally connected to the top notch. Each stretcher has an upper end pivotally connected to an intermediate portion of one of the ribs and a lower end pivotally connected to the runner. The canopy can be opened or closed by sliding the runner upward or downward along the shaft. One torsion spring is provided where each rib is pivotally connected to the corresponding stretcher. When the runner is slid downward to close the canopy, each torsion spring is compressed and stores energy. When the runner is slid upward to open the canopy, each torsion spring releases the stored energy to reduce the effort required for opening the canopy.

摘要： The present invention generally relates to a connecting device designed for connecting umbrella ribs and specifically refers to one installed on each pivoted part existing among all lengthwise ribs and transverse ribs and it contains a hollow tubular sleeve sheathed on the lengthwise rib and a socket sleeve mounted on the top of the transverse rib. The hollow tubular sleeve has two symmetrical elongated wings where the pinholes existed respectively. The socket sleeve is the same as the hollow tubular sleeve having two symmetrical elongated wings where pinholes are on the same line with the central bore located on the top of the socket sleeve. There are slots formed between the socket sleeve and its two symmetrical elongated wings for receiving two symmetrical elongated wings of the hollow tubular sleeve. By using a rivet to pivotally connect the hollow tubular sleeve coupled on the lengthwise rib with the socket sleeve set on the top of the transverse rib together, thus linking the lengthwise rib and transverse rib collectively and that greatly enhancing the connecting strength of the pivoted part thereof.

摘要： An umbrella includes a center rod having upper and lower sections. A canopy is attached to an upper end of the upper section. A lower end of the lower section is mounted to a base positionable on a fixed surface for supporting the central rod in an upright manner. A canopy orientating device is arranged between a lower end of the upper section and an upper end of the lower section. The canopy orientating device includes a skirt-like diverging opening formed in the lower end of the upper section and defined by opposite inclined side walls. The upper end of the lower section is received in the diverging opening. A pivot pin extends through both the upper and lower sections to rotatably mount the upper section to the lower section whereby the upper section and thus the canopy are allowed to rotate about the pivot pin with respect to the lower section between a neutral position where the upper section is substantially aligned with the lower section and an inclined position where the upper end of the lower section engages one of the inclined side walls to orient the canopy in an inclined direction with respect to the lower section.
