Abstract: An umbrella includes a pole and upper pulley assembly, a lower hub assembly, and a rope. The pole has a base portion and a top end portion. The top end portion defines a through passage that extends entirely through the top end portion. The upper pulley assembly is disposed substantially within the through passage. The lower hub assembly is slidingly disposed about the pole such that the lower hub assembly has a first position in which the umbrella is in a closed configuration and a second position in which the umbrella is in an open configuration. The second position is above the first position. The rope extends through a lower pulley assembly and the upper pulley assembly. The rope is configured to translate the lower hub assembly from the first position to the second position and to maintain the lower hub assembly in the second position.

The circuit board has a control switch, when the runner is moved upward to push the illumination device, the umbrella is opened. The control pusher is connected to the runner and includes a controlling element. The control pusher is slid vertically with respect to the shaft and is switched in three-section positions, such that the control pusher is slid to a first position, a second position, and a third position relative to the shaft to drive the control switch to be conducted or not so that the circuit board controls the at least one lighting element to power on or off.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a large umbrella configured to solve several existing deficiencies. The umbrella is configured for ease of operation, requiring very little effort for operation. This is achieved, in part, by use of a specially designed actuator arm used in conjunction with at least one pulley and counterbalanced weight system. Moreover, the umbrella canopy and framework is configured to allow the entire canopy to be lowered while remaining fully extended, so as to form a cover for a table into which its center pole is situated. Additionally, the umbrella canopy can be constructed with an extendible skirt. When unfurled, the skirt can extend the canopy cover so as to form an enclosure that fully surrounds the table, table legs, and chairs, for example.

Abstract: The umbrella is constructed with a frame that allows one rib to be manually lifted in order to open the umbrella and allows a manually applied force to be placed on the cover between two adjacent ribs in order to close the umbrella. Mechanical cranks and the like are eliminated. In one embodiment, rods are added to the struts to weight and maintain the lower movable yoke in the open condition of the umbrella. Abstract: A ventilated umbrella includes a foldable frame, upper canopy and lower canopy. An upper and lower stopping rings with certain interval there between are disposed under the upper notched ring of the main shaft while a notched ring for string is slidable between the two stopping rings and a compression spring is between the notched ring for string and the lower stopping ring. A plurality of radial vertical slots with larger inner slots and smaller outer slots are disposed evenly on the notched ring for string so that one end of a plurality of strings is set into the vertical slot and restrained by a ring while the other end is connected to upper circumference of the lower canopy. And the connection point is located under a horizontal line formed by joints between the main ribs and the stretchers. Thereby a plurality of strings is easy to attach on the notched ring for string. When the umbrella is folded, the notched ring for string returns back by elasticity of the compression spring and simultaneously the upper and the lower canopies are pulled smoothly so that the upper and the lower canopies are rolled up conveniently.
