Abstract: The disclosure concerns a filter assembly adapted for use with a wide mouth carboy in the field of home brewing, and home brewing kits comprising the same. The filter assembly generally includes a carboy lid adapted to engage a fermentation carboy, a mesh filter tube extending from a bottom side of the carboy lid, wherein through an aperture of the lid and into the volume within the mesh filter tube is defined a mesh cavity. Materials can be introduced into the mesh cavity for brewing applications. An agitation probe forms part of the home brewing kit and is used for: (i) agitating the materials within the mesh cavity during a brewing process; (ii) pressing the materials to extract fluids therefrom; or (iii) a combination thereof.

Abstract: A table may be sized and configured to nest with one or more adjacent tables to reduce a height of the table in a nested configuration. Abstract: A foldable table includes a first tabletop panel, a second tabletop panel, and a reinforcing frame which includes first through fourth reinforcing members mounted along longitudinal sides of the first and second tabletop panels respectively, a first transverse member transversely extended between outer end portions of the first and second reinforcing members at the first tabletop panel, and a second transverse member transversely extended between outer end portions of the third and fourth reinforcing members at the second tabletop panel. Two ends of the first transverse member are affixed to the first and second reinforcing members in a non-rotatably movable manner. Two ends of the second transverse member are affixed to the third and fourth reinforcing members in a non-rotatably movable manner. Therefore, the first and second transverse members enhance the rigidity of the reinforcement frame to support two transverse sides of the first and second tabletop panels respectively.

Abstract: Furniture and shelving system employing new joint hardware including various embodiments ranging from shelving which may include one of several coat hook designs, boxes, or tables. The particular shelf or furniture embodiment includes at least one wood panel having pre-determined dimensions and thickness. The wood panels are attached together, or to a wall, employing the joint hardware of this invention which includes a pair of metal plates which are nearly, but not perfectly, parallel to each other. The plates are separated by a predetermined distance which distance corresponds to the predetermined thickness of the wood panel(s).
