Abstract: A first wiring layer of a display device includes a first terminal pattern electrically connected to an anode electrode of an LED element and a second terminal pattern electrically connected to a cathode electrode. A second wiring layer includes a first conductor pattern made of light shielding metal and electrically connected to the first terminal pattern via a first contact hole and a second conductor pattern electrically connected to the second terminal pattern via a second contact hole. The second conductor pattern is arranged so as to be spaced apart from the first conductor pattern and surround a periphery of the first conductor pattern in plan view. A switching element (drive transistor) is covered with the second conductor pattern.
