摘要： More nearly consistent quality of the coatings formed by contacting a zinciferous surface with an aqueous liquid treatment composition comprising water, transition metal cations, and fluorometallate anions, and, optionally, acidity adjustment agents can be achieved by (I) measuring the pH value of and the concentrations of transition metal cations and of fluorometallate anions in the treatment composition as it is used, (II) removing a specified fraction of the treatment composition from contact with the remainder of the treatment composition, and (III) adding one or more suitable replenisher compositions to the treatment composition, in order to maintain the measured pH and concentration values within specified ranges.

摘要： The travel trailer includes a chassis having wheels and a trailer hitch for towing the travel trailer. The travel trailer further includes a trailer body attached to the chassis defined by sidewalls, a front end wall, a rear end wall, a roof, and a floor. 摘要： A connector device and method of use thereof provide positioning and hermetic sealing of electrical contacts in protective housings. The housings protect wires which connect the speed sensor of a turbine engine to a display. The connector supports the electrical contacts in an electrical insulator. The connector includes a malleable flange which is adapted to be hermetically sealed between two housings which protect wires connected to the speed sensor in the turbine engine. The flange is hermetically sealed between a tongue on one housing and a groove in the other housing. The sealing flange extends radially from the central axis of the connector and is compressed by the tongue of a releasable housing into the groove of a permanent housing to form a hermetic seal. The flange supports the electrical insulator which holds electrically conducting inner contacts in position to be slideably mounted into outer contacts which are supported by the connector housing.

摘要： A method and apparatus is reported for detecting inhomogeneities in semi-plastic substances such as toilet bars containing soap. An ultrasound probe is utilized to test the substance at an exit orifice of an extruder. Best results are obtained by utilizing a ceramic ultrasonic probe, rectangular in shape including a transducer having a concave curvature on a lower surface thereof. The probe includes a theromplastic delay material. Ultrasonic waves directed through the probe preferably have a frequency between 1 and 2.25 MHz. Wedging of the extruded substance is also useful to improve contact with the probe as it passes through the extruder exit orifice.

摘要： A tool joint for earth boring drill pipe members has features that increase the amount of torque required to yield the connection. The tool joint has both external and internal make-up shoulders. The pin and box are dimensioned so that the box face contacts the external shoulder while there still is a clearance between the pin face and the internal shoulder. At normal make-up torque, the external shoulder will be tightened to its normal amount. The internal shoulder will tighten to its yield only if additional torque is encountered while drilling. The internal shoulder adds to the amount of torque required to yield the tool joint connection.

摘要： A replacement muffler which can replace original equipment mufflers with substantially no modifications thereto, and methods for producing the same are disclosed. The replacement muffler is provided with a muffler body which only approximates the body of the original equipment muffler and a pair of replacement muffler nipples secured to the muffler body, having diameters substantially equal to the corresponding nipple diameters of the original equipment muffler and having lengths adapted to produce a nipple-to-nipple length substantially equal to the corresponding length of the original equipment muffler. The replacement muffler may be produced with a six to seven fold increase in production line efficiency by customizing only the nipple portions of the replacement muffler.
