摘要: A cable connector includes: a housing including a cylindrical fitting protrusion to be inserted into a fitting opening of a mating connector; and a retainer that enables insertion of the fitting protrusion into the mating connector only when a cable accommodated in the housing is at a regular insertion position, in which the retainer includes a lock protrusion that is at a position where fitting with the mating connector is prevented when a cable accommodated in the housing is at an irregular insertion position, and is movable to a position where fitting with the mating connector is enabled when the cable is at the regular insertion position.

摘要: Provided are a connector member and a connector that suppress a half-fitted condition of the connector, movement of a slide member with an external force, and release of fitting. In a connector, a first connector member including a first housing provided with a locking projection is fitted with a second connector member including a slide member having a locking part and a second housing. An elastic member is provided between the second housing and the slide member; the slide member includes a movable piece that has a pressed part and a locking part; movement of the first housing causes the pressed part to be pressed by the locking projection; and after movement of the slide member in fitting direction, the movable piece rotates, the pressed part is separated from the locking projection, the slide member moves with an elastic force, and the locking part engages with the locking projection.

摘要: Provided are a connector member and a connector that are easy to assemble and capable of adjusting of misalignment or inclination of a fitting axis. In the connector, a first connector member having a first housing is fitted with a second connector member having a second housing and a supporting member that supports the second housing. The first housing is formed with a guide pin, the second housing is formed with a guide-pin guiding part, and the guide-pin guiding part is formed with a guide hole that guides the guide pin. The second housing has a pair of elastic supporting members formed at opposed positions on the supporting member side. When the guide pin is inserted into the guide hole, the guide pin presses the guide hole, the elastic supporting members are elastically deformed, and the second housing is moved, enabling the fitting.

The supporting member has a support claw for holding each of the shaft pins. When the guide pin is inserted into the guide hole, the guide pin presses the guide hole to cause the shaft pin to move with the shaft pins being held by the support claw, thereby the second housing being moved, enabling the fitting.

摘要: An electrical connector of the present invention includes a housing, an electrical terminal, and a moving member that has a moving member body and a detection portion. The housing is provided with a first step portion, and the detection portion is provided with a second step portion. When the moving member is at a first position, the second step portion comes into contact with the first step portion so as to prevent the moving member from moving forward. When the mating portion is completely fitted into a retainer, the detection portion becomes displaced toward the counter mating side due to being pressed by the retainer or the inflator housing, and the second step portion becomes separated from the first step portion so as to permit the moving member to move forward. Also, a squib connection device of the present invention includes this electrical connector.

In the connector, a first connector member having a first housing is fitted with a second connector member having a second housing and a supporting member having a cylindrical shape that supports the second housing. The second housing has a pair of shaft pins formed at positions opposed to each other on the supporting member side. The supporting member has a support claw including a pair of claw pieces that are elastically deformable and hold each of the shaft pins. After the first connector member and the second connector member are fitted together, when a pressure is applied thereto in a fitting direction, the shaft pins are moved to cause the claw pieces of the support claw to elastically deform, causing the shaft pins to detach from the support claw.

摘要: In an electrical connector, in a state in which an abutting portion of a support is abutted against a receiving face of a retainer or an inflator housing, if the connector housing is pressed toward the mating side and then released before being inserted into the retainer to a predetermined depth, then the connector housing is pressed back in the counter mating direction due to restoring force generated in the support. If the connector housing is pressed toward the mating side and inserted into the retainer to the predetermined depth, the abutting portion becomes displaced in the abutment cancelation direction so as to separate from the receiving face, and thus the connector housing is inserted into the retainer to the predetermined depth or more so as to be mated to the retainer, and electrical terminals become connected to squib terminals. Also, a squib connection device includes this electrical connector.

摘要: An electrical connection structure comprises a base member, a connector, and a mating connector. The electrical connection structure comprises a half-fitting detecting mechanism including a half-fitting detecting portion in the connector and a short-circuiting member in the mating connector. The half-fitting detecting portion includes a conductive member and an inspecting member. The half-fitting detecting portion allows a half-fitting state to be detected by the short-circuiting member being in non-contact with the inspecting member when in the half-fitting state. The inspecting member short-circuits with the conductive member via the short-circuiting member by the mating engaging portion of the short-circuiting member being engaged with the engaging portion of the connector and being in contact with a contact part of the inspecting member and the short-circuiting member being in contact with the conductive member when in a normal fitting state.

摘要: Provided is a connector in which first and second connector members are fitted with each other. The first connector member includes a first housing formed with a protrusion. The second connector member includes a second housing; hood member; elastic member; and locking mechanism. The hood member is to cover and to be mounted with the second housing. The elastic member is to be provided between the hood member and second housing. The locking mechanism is to lock the protrusion. The locking mechanism is operated so that the protrusion is drawn in a fitting direction. After the movement of the first and second connector members in the fitting direction is restrained, the locking mechanism is operated so that the hood member is moved while compressing the elastic member, which fix the locking mechanism with the elastic member being compressed.
