    Abstract: An apparatus is used to perform disinfection procedures on target tissues within root canal passages and tubules. The apparatus can include an electromagnetic radiation emitting tip having a distal end and a radiation emitting region disposed proximally of the distal end.     Abstract: A cleaning and whitening system for teeth having an electromagnetic radiation emitting toothbrush and a dentifrice with a photosensitive agent is disclosed.
