Abstract: A method comprises accessing a three-dimensional (3D) model of an object with a visualization tool including a touchscreen. The 3D model comprises a plurality of components. The method further comprises displaying an image of a subset of the components. The subset of the components includes each one of the components of the 3D model with a transparency of less than 100%. The method further comprises detecting a first contact based input at the touchscreen and displaying a first icon on the touchscreen. The first icon represents a location on the touchscreen of the first contact based input. The method further comprises detecting movement of the first contact based input along the touchscreen with the first icon tracking the movement of the first contact based input. The method further comprises responsive to the detected movement, rotating the subset of the components about a center of rotation.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided that can include accessing a three-dimensional (3D) model of an object with a visualization tool including a touchscreen, displaying, via the touchscreen, an image of the 3D model, detecting a pressure based and/or contact based input at the touchscreen, and changing a display parameter of a first component of the 3D model as a result of the input. Selecting the component and/or changing the display can be indicated by visual and/or haptic signals. A method is provided that can include selectively making components of the 3D model transparent or non-transparent, and changing a center of rotation of the 3D model based on the remaining non-transparent components. A method is provided that can include identifying gestures of a selection tool via a stereo camera and changing display parameters based on the detected gesture(s).

Abstract: A first ultrasonic beacon transmission includes a first pilot signal and a first encoded information signal. An apparatus may detect the first pilot signal and decode, based on the first pilot signal, the first encoded information signal to identify a medical system associated with the first ultrasonic beacon transmission. Based on the first encoded information signal, the apparatus may enter into a first pairing state in which the apparatus is communicatively paired with the medical system. While the apparatus is operating in the first pairing state and within a threshold time of entering the first pairing state, the apparatus may detect a second pilot signal included in a second ultrasonic beacon transmission, which also includes a second encoded information signal. Based on the detection of the second pilot signal within the threshold time, the apparatus may continue operating in the first pairing state without decoding the second encoded information signal.

Abstract: A method comprises accessing a three-dimensional (3D) model of an object with a visualization tool, including a touchscreen; displaying, via the touchscreen, an image of the 3D model; detecting a first pressure based input at a first location on the touchscreen; selecting a first component of the 3D model as a result of the first pressure based input at the first location; detecting movement of the first pressure based input from the first location on the touchscreen to a second location on the touchscreen; selecting an adjustable display parameter as a result of the first pressure based input at the second location; detecting a second pressure based input at the touchscreen; and while the first component is selected, changing the display parameter of the first component of the 3D model as a result of the second pressure based input.
