Abstract: A brake system may include a first pressure supply unit having an electromotive drive and arranged to supply pressure medium to first and second brake circuits; a motor-pump unit to supply pressure medium to at least one of the brake circuits; a second pressure supply unit, connected to the motor-pump unit via first and second hydraulic lines and arranged to supply pressure medium to at least one of the brake circuits; and a valve unit. The second pressure supply unit may be connected via a third hydraulic line to at least one of the brake circuits. The valve unit may include at least one feed valve via which the third hydraulic line may be at least partially reversibly shut off. An isolating valve may be disposed in at least one of the hydraulic lines to at least partially reversibly shut off the at least one hydraulic line.

Abstract: A pressure generating device may comprise a piston-cylinder unit having a bilaterally acting piston with two effective surfaces defining two respective, separate working spaces in a sealing manner. Each working space is connected via a hydraulic line to a hydraulic circuit, wherein at least one hydraulic chamber of a consumer is connected to each hydraulic circuit, and wherein a drive drives the piston. Each working space may be in communication with a reservoir for hydraulic medium, via a respective hydraulic line having a respective switching valve. Alternatively, one or both working spaces may be in communication with a reservoir for hydraulic medium via a hydraulic line, with a switching valve in one or both hydraulic lines, and/or a respective outlet valve may be associated with one or more hydraulic chambers of the consumer, and a further connecting line having a switching valve may connect the pressure chambers and/or hydraulic lines.

Abstract: An actuating device for a motor vehicle brake may include an actuating apparatus, such as a brake pedal; a pressure-supply device, such as a single- or double-stroke piston pump, which may be driven by an electromotive drive; a piston-cylinder unit actuable by the actuating apparatus, hydraulically connected to a pressure medium reservoir, and forming at least two pressure spaces connected to hydraulic brake circuits; a valve arrangement having valves for wheel-specific adjustment of brake pressures and for connecting/disconnecting the wheel brakes to/from the pressure-supply device and/or the piston-cylinder unit; and an electronic control unit. An axis of the piston-cylinder unit and an axis of the piston pump may be arranged transversely with respect to each other. The piston-cylinder unit and the pressure supply unit may be arranged in a first housing, and the electromotive drive, the first housing, the valve arrangement, and the electronic control unit may be stacked.

Abstract: A brake system includes two brake circuits having brake circuit lines for two vehicle axles and at least one hydraulic wheel brake in each brake circuit. Each wheel brake is connectable to a corresponding brake circuit or brake circuit line via a paired switch valve for pressure build-up and release in the wheel brake using a pressure supply device that can build up pressure in both brake circuits. At least one circuit separating valve blocks or releases a hydraulic connection line connecting the two brake circuits. At least one outlet valve connects an accumulator container to at least one brake circuit to release pressure. A master cylinder having only one working chamber is actuable by a brake pedal. The working chamber is connectable to the brake circuit line of a brake circuit. A switch valve is used to close or release the hydraulic line.

Abstract: An actuating device for an entirely or partially hydraulic vehicle braking system includes a master brake cylinder with a piston and a working chamber hydraulically connectable to a reservoir, a pedal feel simulator, and, via at least one normally open valve, at least one brake circuit. At least one hydraulic wheel brake is assigned to a brake circuit and connected thereto via at least one separate controllable switching valve. A pressure supply unit has a motor-driven piston and a cylinder. At least one valve assembly includes wheel-specific solenoid pressure control valves. At least one electrical control unit controls valves of the valve assembly and the motor of the pressure supply unit. Outlet valves enable discharge of hydraulic medium from wheel brakes or brake circuits into the reservoir. One housing contains the valve assembly and hydraulic component of the pressure supply unit, and a separate housing contains the master brake cylinder.

Abstract: An operating device for a vehicle brake system may include a control device and a piston-cylinder unit, at least one chamber of which may be connected to at least one wheel brake via at least one hydraulic line and a valve device that has at least normally open inlet valves or switching valves. The device may further include a pressure source that may be controlled to supply pressure medium to the at least one hydraulic line or to the at least one wheel brake. The control device may control pressure build-up via volume control and/or time control, using inlet valves. The interior or armature chamber of an inlet valve may be connected to a corresponding brake circuit via a hydraulic line, and a valve seat outlet may be connected to a corresponding wheel brake via a hydraulic line.

A valve device may regulate pressure of the hydraulically actuatable device. Pressurizing medium can be supplied in a controlled manner in both movement directions of the pressure-generating arrangement. Provision is made for two working chambers of the second pressure source to be connected by a hydraulic line, and a valve device may be arranged in the hydraulic line.

Abstract: A braking system for a vehicle may include a hydraulic brake pedal system having a master cylinder having at least one pressure chamber, from which a hydraulic output is coupled to at least one brake circuit via an infeed switch valve.
