摘要: A circuit and a method for converting an analog signal to a digital value representation is disclosed. In one aspect, the circuit includes an incremental sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The circuit further includes a first input line for providing a primary analog signal representing a sensor measurement to the incremental sigma-delta ADC. The circuit further includes a second input line for providing a secondary analog signal to the incremental sigma-delta ADC. The incremental sigma-delta ADC receives the primary and secondary analog signals during a first period (TADC1) and a second period (TADC2), respectively. The circuit further includes a filter configured to weight the digital values in a sequence of digital values output by the incremental sigma-delta ADC, and to output a single digital value representing the sensor measurement.

摘要: A spectrometer module comprising a plurality of separate electronic circuit modules is disclosed. Each separate electronic module comprises an integrated sensor circuit including a light sensitive area occupying part of an area of the integrated sensor circuit, the integrated sensor circuit being arranged to detect incident light. In one aspect, the plurality of separate electronic circuit modules includes a group of adjacent electronic circuit modules. The light sensitive areas of the electronic circuit modules in the group are so arranged on the respective integrated sensor circuits that the group of adjacent electronic circuit modules is mounted so that the light sensitive areas thereof are arranged in vicinity to each other. The spectrometer module includes an optical module, which is common to said plurality of separate electronic circuit modules and arranged to direct incident light towards the light sensitive areas of each of said electronic circuit modules.

摘要: The present description relates to a readout circuit for digitizing an analog input signal of an imaging device into a digital output. The readout circuit comprises a pixel signal input for providing an analog signal from at least one imaging pixel element, a variable gain amplifier for providing an amplified signal of the analog signal by a gain factor, and a first analog to digital conversion means for quantizing the analog signal into a first digital signal. The circuit further comprises a control means for setting the gain factor of the variable gain amplifier by taking into account the first digital signal, and a second analog to digital conversion means for quantizing the amplified signal into a second digital signal. 摘要: A pixel for converting incident subatomic particles into an output voltage signal is disclosed. In one aspect, the pixel includes a photo-detector adapted to receive incident subatomic particles and generate an input voltage signal corresponding to an intensity of the received particles. The pixel also includes a passive amplifier adapted to passively amplify the input voltage signal to generate an output voltage signal. The passive amplification reduces the noise of the output voltage signal, and may have a higher quantum efficiency than typical in-pixel amplification devices and methods.

摘要: The present description relates to a readout circuit for digitizing an analog input signal of an imaging device into a digital output. 摘要: A pixel architecture having an in-pixel amplifier comprising an NMOS transistor and a depletion-mode NMOS load is disclosed. In one aspect, the pixel architecture comprises a pixel core including a pixel photodiode for generating an output signal in accordance with incident light. Further, the in-pixel amplifier is connected to a pixel core to amplify the output signal before it is stored in a column buffer before being read out at output of the pixel architecture. By having an in-pixel amplifier that can be used for amplification of the output signal inside the pixel architecture, a larger output value is obtained which may be stored inside the pixel architecture on a small capacitor with improved signal-to-noise performance. This in-pixel amplification can also improve the quality of stored signals for global shutter operation.

The processing unit is adapted to determine, based on information relating the field of view of the spectrometer module to the field of view of the camera, a spectrometer module target area, within the at least one image, corresponding to the region. The processing unit is adapted to output display data to a screen of the user device for providing an indication of the target area on the display.

摘要: Example embodiments relate to an image sensor and a method for read-out of pixel signal. One embodiment includes an image sensor. The image sensor includes an array of pixels for detecting light incident on the pixel. The image sensor also includes an in-pixel correlated double sampling (CDS) circuitry. The image sensor also includes a column line that extends along and is associated with a column of pixels in the array of pixels. The column line is configured to selectively receive a pixel signal from a pixel in the column. Further, the image sensor includes a voltage-drop correction line that extends along and is associated with the column of pixels. The voltage-drop correction line is configured to provide a correction voltage signal to a pixel in the column such that corrects for voltage drop of the pixel signal in read-out through the column line.
