摘要: A reforming system may include an engine; an intake line connected to the engine; an exhaust line connected to the engine; a reformer provided at an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) line diverging from the exhaust line and mixing the exhaust gas with fuel; a front end pressure sensor provided at the EGR line of the front end portion of the reformer and measuring pressure of the exhaust gas of the front end portion of the reformer; a rear end pressure sensor provided at the EGR line of the rear end portion of the reformer and measuring pressure of the exhaust gas of the rear end portion of the reformer; and a reforming controller configured for determining whether reforming continues on the basis of a pressure difference between the front end portion and the rear end portion of the reformer measured by the front end and the rear end sensors.

摘要: A fuel reforming system is provided. The system includes an engine combusting reformed gas to generate mechanical power and an intake line connected with the engine to supply the reformed gas and air to the engine. An exhaust line is connected with the engine to circulate exhaust gas and a fuel reformer disposed at an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) line diverging from the exhaust line mixes the exhaust gas passing through the EGR line with fuel and reforms the mixed fuel. An exhaust gas purifying catalyst disposed at the exhaust line purifies nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas. A temperature sensor at the exhaust line of the exhaust gas purifying catalyst measures temperature of the exhaust gas purifying catalyst. A bypass controller then operates a bypass valve to supply or cut off the exhaust gas into the fuel reformer according to temperature of the exhaust gas purifying catalyst.

摘要: A continuously variable valve timing device is provided and includes a cam sprocket connected with a camshaft having a plurality of cams to rotate the camshaft and an electric variable valve timing mechanism connected with the cam sprocket, and driven by an electric motor. A chain cover protects the cam sprocket and a chain system from foreign substances and an electric variable valve timing mechanism cover protects the electric variable valve timing mechanism from foreign substances. A seal ring partitions an internal space between the electric variable valve timing mechanism and the electric variable valve timing mechanism cover. In addition, a pressure maintaining device is mounted within the electric variable valve timing mechanism cover to maintain pressure formed within the internal space of the electric variable valve timing mechanism cover at about atmospheric pressure.

摘要: A fuel reformer includes a housing. A mixing portion is provided in the housing, the mixing portion being a space for mixing fuel supplied from the outside with an EGR gas. A reforming catalyst portion is provided on a side opposite the mixing portion and is configured to reform the mixed fuel and the EGR gas in the mixing portion. A first heater is disposed around an outer periphery of the housing surrounding the mixing portion. A second heater is disposed around an outer periphery of the housing surrounding the reforming catalyst portion. The first and second heaters are configured to transmit thermal energy to the fuel reformer.
