Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for switching an NC link, a processor system, and a node, where the processor system includes more than two nodes capable of communicating with each other, each node includes a node controller NC chip, a host bus adapter HBA apparatus, and at least one CPU, the NC chip is connected to each CPU in a node where the NC chip is located, and the HBA apparatus is connected to each CPU in a node where the HBA apparatus is located; an NC link borne by the NC chip is corresponding to an HBA link borne by the HBA apparatus. By using an HBA apparatus to deploy a redundant link, the cost of deploying the redundant link is reduced effectively under a premise of ensuring the reliability of the processor system.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a virtual machine migration management method, where the method includes: calculating, according to migration parameters of a to-be-migrated virtual machine, migration duration time required for migrating the to-be-migrated virtual machine from a source computing node to a destination computing node, where the migration parameters include an allocated memory size, a memory change rate, and migration network bandwidth that are of the to-be-migrated virtual machine; separately acquiring current available migration duration time of the source computing node and current available migration duration time of the destination computing node; and, if neither the current available migration duration time of the source computing node nor the current available migration duration time of the destination computing node is less than the migration duration time, determining to migrate the to-be-migrated virtual machine from the source computing node to the destination computing node.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a data synchronization method and apparatus. The method includes: scanning a code to capture a synchronization instruction; replacing the captured synchronization instruction with a trap instruction; and when the code runs to the trap instruction, trapping a code execution right into a distributed shared memory (DSM) unit, where the DSM unit implements a concurrent multi-write protocol, but implements a single-write protocol when executing the synchronization instruction, thereby supporting the concurrent multi-write protocol and solving the synchronization problem caused by the concurrent multi-write protocol.
