Abstract: A video service quality assessment method and apparatus are provided to resolve a prior-art problem of relatively low accuracy of an assessment result. A monitoring device obtains an identifier of a to-be-monitored channel, an identifier of to-be-monitored user equipment, and configuration information of a video service transmission system; obtains a multicast video stream of the to-be-monitored channel based on the identifier of the to-be-monitored channel; obtains a retransmitted video stream based on the identifier of the to-be-monitored channel, the identifier of the to-be-monitored user equipment, and the configuration information of the video service transmission system; determines a to-be-assessed video stream based on the multicast video stream and the retransmitted video stream; and parses the to-be-assessed video stream, and obtains an assessment result based on a parsing result and the configuration information of the video service transmission system.

Abstract: A data transmission method includes: obtaining, by a sending device, data packets of a target data flow; and sending the data packets of the target data flow to a receiving device through at least two physical links between the sending device and the receiving device in a load balancing mode, where each data packet that is of the target data flow and that is sent in the load balancing mode carries a primary sequence number, the sent data packets of the target data flow have consecutive primary sequence numbers, and the primary sequence numbers are used by the receiving device to order data packets that are received from different physical links and that belong to the target data flow.

Abstract: A data transmission method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: when determining that a first data stream satisfies a transmission optimization enabling condition, a first transmitting end TE1 sends a transmission optimization enabling notification to a first receiving end RE1, where the transmission optimization enabling notification is used to indicate the RE1 to skip sending, to the TE1, an acknowledgment packet used to acknowledge that a data packet of the first data stream is already received by the RE2. The TE1 receives a data packet Data2 in a second protocol format from the TE2. The TE1 sends a data packet Data1 in a first protocol format to the RE1. The TE1 receives an acknowledgment frame Ack1 in the first protocol format from the RE1. The TE1 constructs an acknowledgment packet Ack2 in the second protocol format based on the Ack1, and sends it to the TE2.

Abstract: A hot live video determining method is provided. A network device first obtains a plurality of video request messages for a target video; then determines statistical information of the target video based on the plurality of video request messages, where the statistical information includes a quantity of video request messages for the target video that are obtained in specified duration and fragment information of a video fragment requested in each video request message; and finally determines, based on the statistical information, whether the target video is a hot live video. According to the method, the network device can identify the hot live video in the Internet, so the network device can carry the hot live video in a multicast manner, to avoid breakdown that is of a network and a video server and that is caused by transmitting the hot live video in a unicast method.
