    Abstract: A method includes: receiving, by a network device, k channel measurement values, k channel measurement resource identifiers, and k interference measurement resource identifiers that are sent by user equipment, where k is an integer greater than or equal to 1, each channel measurement value corresponds to one channel measurement resource identifier and one interference measurement resource identifier, and the channel measurement value is calculated based on the channel measurement resource identifier and the interference measurement resource identifier that correspond to the channel measurement value.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a measurement method and an apparatus, so that a measurement result meets a CoMP requirement while feedback overheads are reduced. The measurement method includes: sending, by a first network device, a restricted channel state information CSI measurement instruction to a second network device, where the restricted CSI measurement instruction is used to instruct the second network device to perform restricted CSI measurement; and receiving, by the first network device, CSI sent by the second network device, where the CSI is generated after the CSI measurement is completed based on the CSI measurement instruction.

    Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, the application discloses a communication method that includes the operations: generating downlink control information DCI; and sending the DCI to a terminal device. The DCI includes indication information used to indicate a single codeword scheduled by using the DCI, or a correspondence between a single codeword scheduled by using the DCI and a first resource. Alternatively, the DCI includes a first number of a hybrid automatic repeat request HARQ process corresponding to a single codeword scheduled by using the DCI, where a quantity of values of the first number is greater than a quantity of values of a second number of an HARQ process used by either one codeword of DCI used to schedule two codewords. In embodiments of the application, a utilization rate of an HARQ buffer can be improved.

    Abstract: A communication method and a communications apparatus, where the method includes: first determining, by a terminal, a first radio access technology for establishing a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection; and then determining, by the terminal based on access information, a first cause value for establishing the RRC connection, where the first cause value is a cause value of the first radio access technology, and the access information includes at least one of an access identity (AI), an access category (AC), or a second cause value of a second radio access technology. After the terminal determines the first cause value, the terminal sends a first message used to establish the RRC connection, and uses the first message to carry the first cause value.

The method includes: sending, by a network device, configuration information to a terminal device; determining, by the terminal device, channel state information CSI measurement behavior and/or CSI feedback related information, where the channel state information CSI measurement behavior and/or the CSI feedback related information are/is related to the configuration information; and performing, by the terminal device, CSI measurement based on the configuration information and the CSI measurement behavior and/or the CSI feedback related information, to obtain at least one piece of CSI, and sending all or some of the at least one piece of CSI to the network device. It can be learned that, in a scenario in which a plurality of transmission modes are supported, according to the foregoing method, the terminal device can measure CSI, and feed back the measured CSI to the network device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method. A first network device configures power configuration information for each of at least two precoding matrix groups, and sends the power configuration information to a second network device. The power configuration information is used to indicate a power configuration of a corresponding precoding matrix group of the at least two precoding matrix groups, and the at least two precoding matrix groups belong to a same resource used to measure channel state information CSI. When the second network device performs CSI measurement, different power values of different precoding matrix groups can be considered, thereby increasing accuracy of the CSI measurement.

The method is intended to meet different requirements for channel state information measurement in different scenarios of coordinated multipoint in a future network.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide example data transmission methods. One example method includes: receiving, by a receiving device, first data on a first time-frequency resource, and receiving second data on a second time-frequency resource. When the first time-frequency resource and the second time-frequency resource have an overlapped target frequency domain resource in frequency domain, the receiving device can then use a first DMRS mapped to a target frequency domain resource of the first time-frequency resource to demodulate the second data mapped to a target frequency domain resource of the second time-frequency resource.
