    摘要: A method and apparatus for denoising digital images or videos, which is an extension of the spatial varying filter (SVF) by using a past filtered pixel, instead of the current pixel itself as the input for producing an output for the current pixel. Based on this concept, a number of denoising filters are provided, including Auto-regressive Spatial Varying Filter (ARSVF), Modified Auto-regressive Spatial Varying Filter (MARSVF), Auto-Regressive Spatiotemporal Varying Filter (ARSTVF) which is an extension of Spatiotemporal Varying Filter (STVF), Auto-regressive Motion Compensated Spatiotemporal Varying Filter (ARMCSTVF) which is extension of Motion Compensated Spatiotemporal Varying Filter (MCSTVF), and Selective Auto-regressive Motion Compensated Spatiotemporal Varying Filter (SARMCSTVF).

    摘要: Methods and apparatuses for color denoising are described. There is provided an image processing method. The method comprises the steps of retrieving chrominance level for a plurality of pixels in a predetermined configuration; computing a weight for each pixel; applying the weight to the chrominance level for each the pixel; summing the weighted chrominance level to output a chrominance level for a centre pixel at the center of said predetermined configuration; and repeating the above steps for every pixel per image. The color noise can be reduced while preserving the edge without any edge detection.

    摘要: Methods and systems for denoising embedded digital video decoding. Prediction and residue block of a current frame are obtained from motion vector. Variance of residue block is calculated using prior reference blocks, and a causal temporal linear minimum square error estimator is used to calculate a filter coefficient. The residue block is modified using the filter coefficient, and an output digital bitstream of blocks of pixels of the current frame is produced using the modified residue block and prior denoised prediction value of prior frames.

    摘要: A 3D /2D multiprimary color image device is provided with an optical unit to direct one image to the left eye and another image to the right eye. Each color dot of the multiprimary color image device comprises at least two color sections controlled independently. To display a 3D image, one section of a color dot is for displaying a left eye image while another section of the same color dot is for displaying a right eye image. To display a 2D image, both sections of a color dot for the left eye and for the right eye displaying the same image independently.
