A monitoring system comprises: a measurement unit; and an analysis unit, wherein the measurement unit measures traffic information relating to messages inputted to a device to be monitored and messages outputted from the device to be monitored, and wherein the analysis unit calculates one or more indices on the basis of a prescribed relational expression and the measured traffic information, and detects that a specific change in state has occurred in the device to be monitored on the basis of the indices or a comparison between a change in the indices and a threshold.

In a communication system in which a plurality of communication apparatuses perform communication via a communication network, a network abnormality detection system dynamically creates a monitoring rule during operation without defining information (monitoring rule) regarding communication to be monitored in advance and perform a collection process and an abnormality determination process quickly even when an amount of information to be monitored is vast. The network abnormality detection system copies packets transmitted at predetermined measurement positions in the communication network, calculates communication statistics information at each measurement position from the copied packets, analyzes one or more pieces of communication statistics information, and detects occurrence of communication abnormality.

When a plurality of services are enjoyed by a single terminal, a communication regulation caused by another service has influence on enjoyment of another service. A service provider and a mobile communication provider are affiliated with each other and newly provide an affiliated service in which a communication fee for a service use is borne by the service provider to a user. A distributed file system has plural file server clusters that perform any one of file storage, file read, and file deletion according to a request. A gateway device mediates requests between a client device that transmits a request including any one of file storage, file read, and file deletion, and the distributed file system. The gateway device includes a health check function unit that monitors an operating status of the file server cluster, and a data control function unit that receives the request for the distributed file system from the client device, and selects one or more of the file server clusters that are normally in operation, and distributes the request to the selected file server clusters.

This invention provides an apparatus that associates a location where a terminal uses communication or travel route in use of the communication, with a connection destination of the terminal. The apparatus includes a communication log analyzer that aggregates communication logs collected by network apparatuses that constitute the mobile network and analyzes it. The communication log analyzer estimates travel route of the terminal connected the network using: log information generated by a base station to be connected to the terminal at the time of starting the connection, log information generated by a base station to be connected to the terminal at the time of a handover of the connection, and log information generated by a base station connected to the terminal at the time of detaching the connection.
