Abstract: In some examples, continuous frequency based print pipeline generation may include ascertaining an input image that is to be printed. For a specified pixel of the input image, a first frequency and a second frequency that respectively correspond to first and second colors may be determined. Based on the first frequency and the second frequency, an intermediate frequency that is to be generated to produce an intermediate color relative to the first and second colors may be determined. The intermediate frequency may be converted to discrete pulses. Operation of a printhead that is to print the specified pixel may be controlled based on the discrete pulses.

Abstract: In an example, a print system include a component device that is operation in a number of state, a density engine, and a component engine. An example density engine identifies a plane region of a plane where print fluid is to be printed based on data of a print job and determines a density classifier for the plane based on a location of the plane region on the plane. An example component engine causes an adjustment of a component attribute of the component device based on the density classifier.

Abstract: A print job having a number of pages is printed in a continuous mode, on media advanced at a constant speed. The print job can thus be effectively treated as having a single page. The media that are advanced for printing the print job can similarly be effectively treated as being a single medium.

Abstract: According to an example, an apparatus may include a fluid coverage engine to determine which pixels of an image are to receive print fluid. The apparatus may also include a pixel count engine to compute a count of pixels at which print fluid is to be applied onto a media from the determined pixels of the image that are to receive print fluid, a target temperature engine to determine a target temperature for a dryer based upon the computed count of pixels, and a dryer engine to cause the dryer to become heated to the determined target temperature.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to wiping die nozzles of fluid ejection dies. For example, a printing device may be directed by execution of stored instructions to eject a droplet in a first direction from an opening in a die nozzle toward a location of an absorbent wipe material and to wipe the opening concurrently with the droplet being ejected from the opening.

Abstract: A method for inkjet nozzle spitting including conveying pages in a print direction along a transport through a printzone of a wide array printhead formed by a plurality of rows of nozzles disposed crosswise to the print direction, the nozzles to eject ink drops in accordance with print data. The method further includes maintaining a gap between pages as the gap moves through the printzone, and providing spit pattern data as print data to the printhead to successively activate each row of nozzles, in the print direction and in synchronism with movement of the gap, to eject ink drops from all nozzles of the row so that a position of the activated row of nozzles is maintained within the gap as the gap continuously moves through the printzone.

Abstract: In some examples, dithering based color conversion may include ascertaining an input color value. Based on conversion of the input color value to an output color space representation, a set of nodes that are to be analyzed to control operation of a printer may be determined. Based on a position of the input color value from each node of the set of nodes, a corresponding probability associated with each node of the set of nodes may be determined. Further, the operation of the printer may be controlled based on the determined probability associated with each node of the set of nodes.
