摘要： A receptacle connector (100) includes a metal shield (3) having the cover (31) and an opposite base (32). The cover (31) includes a pair of top lateral wings (312). The base includes a pair of bottom lateral wings (322) for mating with the respective top lateral wings (312). The top lateral wing (312) defines a first portion of a whole lateral wing board, while the bottom lateral wing (322) defines a second portion adapted to contribute towards completing the whole lateral wing board. Thus, the metal shield (3) is integrated by the cover (31) and the base (32), each of which is molded by a single sheet.

摘要： An electrical connector adapted for connecting a camera module to a printed circuit board via a flexible printed circuit comprises a shield and a spring plate. The shield includes a pair of opposite rear and front walls, a pair of left and right walls adjacent to the rear and front walls, and a flat bottom wall connecting the walls together to enclose a cavity for receiving the camera module. The spring plate is mounted on the bottom wall of the shell and has a main portion and a number of elastic arms extending outward from the two opposite sides of the main portion. Each of the front and rear wall of the shield includes an upright base extending upwardly from the bottom wall, a retaining section extending upwardly from the center of the upright base, and a pair of fastening sections extending from both sides of the retaining section and bending toward the receiving cavity.

摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a number of upper and lower contacts fixed in the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes a base and a tongue portion extending from the base along a first direction. Each of the upper contacts includes a first planar soldering section situated adjacent to a bottom face of the base. Each of the lower contacts includes a second planar soldering section situated adjacent to the bottom face of the base. The lower contacts are assembled to the insulative housing along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in order that the second planar soldering sections can be kept coplanar with the first planar soldering sections through controlling insertion depth of the lower contacts along the second direction.
