Abstract: The invention relates to a structure comprising at least one thermal management element comprising : a composite body (3) containing at least one phase change material (PCM) in a structuring rigid matrix, so that the composite body is self-supporting regardless of the phase of the phase change material contained, and/or a plastic or metal bag, gas-tight and under partial internal vacuum, having a shape maintained by the internal vacuum, the composite body (3) and/or the bag being shaped so as locally to present externally at least one elongated cavity (11) which by itself defines a channel wall (13) suitable for the circulation of a fluid.

Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly comprising a plurality of cells (10) of an electric vehicle battery (1) between which a first passage (17) may receive fluid via a first supply (27). On another side (11b) of the cells, a second passage (19) may receive fluid via a second supply (29). Around the cells, a peripheral passage (21) may also receive fluid via another supply (25). The second passage (19) and/or the peripheral passage (21) is interposed between a thermal insulator (33) and two successive cells. Flow control means (47) provide a thermal exchange fluid flow through at least one of the first, second and additional fluid supplies during a first time period and through at least two of the first, second and additional fluid supplies during a second time period.

Abstract: A thermal device comprising thermal means for dissipating thermal energy, means for thermally managing the thermal means, comprising an enclosure having a volume in which a heat absorbing substance is disposed for exchanging heat with said thermal means. A channeling is provided with which the volume of the enclosure communicates in order, in an abnormal overheating situation of the thermal means to discharge at least part of said substance to the outside that is further away from the thermal means than said volume is.
