    Abstract: A method including determining, by a first terminal device, a size of a sidelink data packet, determining, by the first terminal device based on the size of the sidelink data packet, a first quantity of time-frequency units corresponding to the sidelink data packet, determining, by the first terminal device, a frequency domain resource of a second time-frequency resource from a first time-frequency resource, based on the first quantity, a resource selection rule, and at least one of a time domain resource of the second time-frequency resource, or a frequency domain resource of the second time-frequency resource, and performing, by the first terminal device, at least one of sending the sidelink data packet to a second terminal device on the second time-frequency resource, or receiving the sidelink data packet from a second terminal device on the second time-frequency resource.

The method includes: A network apparatus determines an ith sidelink transmission resource of an ith cooperation terminal apparatus, where the ith cooperation terminal apparatus belongs to N cooperation terminals, the ith sidelink transmission resource belongs to the 1st sidelink transmission resource to an Nth sidelink transmission resource, the ith sidelink transmission resource is different from a jth sidelink transmission resource, the jth sidelink transmission resource is a sidelink transmission resource that is of a jth cooperation terminal apparatus and that is determined by the network apparatus, the ith sidelink transmission resource is used by the ith cooperation terminal apparatus to send second data to a target terminal apparatus, the second data is determined based on first data sent by the network apparatus to the ith cooperation terminal apparatus, and the N cooperation terminal apparatuses and the target terminal apparatus belong to a same cooperative transmission group. The network apparatus sends the ith sidelink transmission resource to the ith cooperation terminal apparatus and the target terminal apparatus.

The method includes: A transmit-end device may modulate S bitstreams according to a mapping rule corresponding to a first modulation scheme for a higher-order modulation signal to be received by a receive-end device, to generate M lower-order modulation signals, where S is equal to 1 or M, and M is an integer greater than or equal to 2; and then send the M lower-order modulation signals through a line of sight LOS channel, so that a modulation order of a signal transmitted by a transmit end can be reduced.

    Abstract: This application provides an information transmission method, an apparatus, and a system, to improve coverage and transmission reliability that are of uplink control information UCI, thereby improving communication efficiency. In the method, after determining UCI, a terminal device sends the uplink control information on N frequency domain resource units, where N is a positive integer greater than 1. Based on this solution, when a power spectral density is determined, a larger quantity of frequency domain resource units may indicate a higher transmit power, so that coverage of the UCI can be increased. In addition, when a quantity of bits of the UCI is small, rate matching may be performed on the N frequency domain resource units, to reduce a code rate, so that transmission reliability is improved.
