Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method is applicable to a first terminal device, and the method includes that the first terminal device receives first uplink grant information. The method further includes that the first terminal device determines a resource for uplink transmission based on a first field in the first uplink grant information, and performs uplink transmission based on the resource. The first field is used for frequency domain resource allocation indication, a length Y of the first field is less than X, where X is a pre-specified value, or X is a length of a second frequency domain resource allocation field associated with a second uplink grant format. The first terminal device does not support the second uplink grant format. Y is related to a quantity N of resource blocks supported or configured by the first terminal device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a synchronization signal sending method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining an initial synchronization sequence, where a spectrum width corresponding to the initial synchronization sequence is greater than a bandwidth of a synchronization channel and is less than a sum of the bandwidth of the synchronization channel and a system protection bandwidth; dividing the initial synchronization sequence into N sub-synchronization sequences; carrying the N sub-synchronization sequences on N time-domain symbols; and sending the N time-domain symbols to a receiving apparatus. According to the synchronization signal sending method provided in the embodiments of this application, a bandwidth loss of a synchronization signal is reduced, and utilization and synchronization performance of a system synchronization bandwidth are improved.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to user equipment, a network device, and an acknowledgement information transmission method. The user equipment sends at least one first ACK/NACK and at least one second ACK/NACK of at least two acknowledgement information ACKs/NACKs to be sent in one uplink subframe, according to a sequence of the first ACK/NACK being first, and the second ACK/NACK being second, or the second ACK/NACK being first, and the first ACK/NACK being second. The network device may determine, according to a same sorting sequence used by the user equipment for sending, that in the received at least two ACKs/NACKs, which is used to feed back a signal transmitted in an unconventional communication manner, and which is used to feed back a signal transmitted in a conventional communication manner.

Abstract: An information transmission method includes a step of receiving first downlink control information. The first downlink control information includes frequency hopping indication information of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and/or transmission mode indication information of the PUCCH, or the first downlink control information is downlink control information scrambled by a first radio network temporary identifier. The method further includes performing data transmission based on the downlink control information. Based on the first downlink control information, the terminal device can perform frequency hopping to obtain a frequency diversity gain and to improve flexibility. Also transmission may be repeated to improve transmission performance, and a frequency resource may be adjusted to achieve load balancing or obtain a frequency diversity gain.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and apparatus, so that a terminal device monitors a control channel on a corresponding resource applicable to a terminal device of a first capability type. This can implement communication between a network device and the terminal device of the first capability type. The network device can send a control channel for a first terminal device, and the first terminal device is distinguished from a second terminal device. This can meet requirements of different types of terminal devices for control channels. For example, the first terminal device and the second terminal device share a first control resource set. This can ensure reliability of the first terminal device while minimizing impact on an optional resource of the second terminal device.
