Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a network function management method, a management device, and a system. The method includes: obtaining, by a second management device, sharing information of a network function, where the sharing information of the network function is used to indicate whether the network function can be shared by at least two network slices; sending, by the second management device, the sharing information of the network function to a first management device; and orchestrating, by the first management device, the network function based on the sharing information of the network function. It can be learned from the above that the embodiments of the present invention provide a specific solution to choosing to provide a network slice with a shared network function or an exclusive network function, thereby facilitating network function maintenance and management.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for allocating a virtual resource in a NFV network. The method includes: receiving, by a VIM, a plurality of virtual resource request messages, where each virtual resource request message includes identification information, and the identification information represents at least one virtual resource use unit; determining a priority of each virtual resource request message according to a preset rule and the identification information; and allocating, a resource according to the priority of each virtual resource request message. According to the method in the embodiments of the present invention when resource requests are processed concurrently, resource utilization efficiency and flexibility can be improved, system stability and reliability can be improved, and faster and more efficient responses can be made to some emergencies.
Abstract:
In a NFV resource processing method and a VNFM, a first VNFM sends, without using an NFVO, a first resource request message for requesting a resource to a second VNFM connected to the first VNFM. When a resource of a target VIM connected to the second VNFM meets information about a resource that is applied for, the first VNFM determines, according to a received first feedback message, information about the target VIM that can reserve or allocate the resource that is applied for. A resource management network is formed between the first VNFM and the second VNFM, so that the interconnected VNFMs can perform resource processing. This process does not require participation of the NFVO. Therefore, impact on the network if the NFVO is faulty is avoided, and a distributed resource management manner is implemented.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a video optimization method, user equipment, and a network device. One example method includes: sending, by a network device, first indication information to user equipment (UE), where the first indication information instructs the UE to send a video mean opinion score (MOS) of the UE to the network device, and the video MOS represents a current video quality level; and receiving, by the network device, the video MOS sent by the UE.
Abstract:
Example data processing methods and apparatuses are disclosed. In one example data processing method, a first terminal obtains packet delay budget adjustment information, where the packet delay budget adjustment information is used to indicate an adjusted packet delay budget, a packet delay budget adjustment amount, or a packet delay budget adjustment range. The first terminal adjusts a size of a jitter buffer based on the packet delay budget adjustment information, and then buffers data based on the adjusted jitter buffer.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a quality parameter transmission method, a terminal, a network side device, and a system. The method includes: sending, by the network side device, a first request message to the terminal, where the first request message is used to request a quality parameter related to user experience of a preset service; and after receiving the first request message from the network side device, sending, by the terminal, the quality parameter to the network side device. The network side device obtains, from the terminal, the quality parameter related to user experience of the preset service, and therefore can evaluate network operation quality by using the quality parameter, to facilitate network optimization, provide better network quality for the terminal, and improve user experience.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a management method, and a management device and a system that are based on the method. The method includes: sending, by a second management device, an update request to a first management device, where the update request is used to request the first management device to update requirement information of a subnet managed by the first management device; and then, determining, by the first management device, that the subnet can satisfy the update request, or determining that the subnet cannot satisfy the update request. In the solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the second management device can request the first management device to update the requirement information of the subnet managed by the first management device, thereby preventing a management fault of an entire network slice when a subnet managed by the second management device cannot satisfy a preset requirement.
Abstract:
A resource configuration method and an apparatus are disclosed, to resolve prior-art problems of a relatively undiversified and inflexible resource allocation mode, and being incapable of elastically responding to a sudden requirement for an additional resource. In the method, a resource configuration device may obtain a resource increment specific to a resource group, and reserve a resource of the resource increment for the resource group or allocate a resource of the resource increment to the resource group, so that the resource configuration device can flexibly allocate a resource to the resource group. When the resource group needs to be scaled out, but a target resource application volume for the scale-out exceeds a resource limit of the resource group that is maintained by the resource configuration device, the resource configuration device can allocate sufficient resources to the resource group.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a radio access network device, a user equipment, and a method for reporting status of a buffer. The method includes: determining whether a rate at which a user equipment receives service data is lower than a rate at which the user equipment plays service data; increasing resource for receiving downlink service data for the user equipment if it is determined that the rate at which the user equipment receives service data is lower than the rate at which the user equipment plays service data. The present invention solves the problem of service interruption caused when all the service data cached in the buffer is consumed due to that the rate at which the user equipment receives service data is lower than the rate at which the user equipment plays service data after network environment changes, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of the service.
Abstract:
The present application relates to a service transfer method, user equipment, and an access network device. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, a public land mobile network identity PLMN ID and auxiliary information corresponding to the PLMN ID that are sent by a 3GPP access network entity, where the auxiliary information corresponding to the PLMN ID is used by the user equipment to perform service transfer to a wireless local area network WLAN that an operator corresponding to the PLMN ID allows the user equipment to access; and performing, by the user equipment, service transfer according to the PLMN ID and the auxiliary information corresponding to the PLMN ID. Technical solutions provided in embodiments of the present invention may increase a success rate of service transfer.
