摘要: A physiological activity detection system comprises a signal acquisition module configured for non-invasively acquiring a signal from an anatomical structure of a user, the acquired signal having a physiological-encoded component and a periodic artifact component that dominates the physiological-encoded component. The physiological activity detection system further comprises a phase-locked loop (PLL) component configured for estimating a phase of the periodic artifact component of the acquired signal, and generating a periodic reference signal having a phase representative of the estimated phase of the periodic artifact component of the acquired signal.

摘要: An illustrative system includes a wearable assembly configured to be worn by a user and comprising a first detector configured to detect a first set of photon arrival times and output a first signal representative of the first set of photon arrival times, and a second detector configured to detect a second set of photon arrival times and output a second signal representative of the second set of photon arrival times. The system further includes a processing unit configured to identify a first intensity change in the first signal, identify a second intensity change in the second signal, determine that the first and second intensity changes are time correlated, and determine, based on the determining that the first and second intensity changes are time correlated, that the first and second intensity changes are representative of a motion artifact caused by movement of the user.

The system receives, from a client device, an input dataset representative of: 1) a set of parameters defining a research study to be conducted with respect to a research subject group, and 2) a set of criteria for research subjects that are to be included in the research subject group. The system designates a research subject included in the potential subject pool for inclusion in the research subject group based on the set of criteria, and receives research data detected for the research subject in accordance with the set of parameters. The system also provides an output dataset generated based on the research data detected for the research subject in accordance with the set of parameters. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

摘要: An illustrative optical measurement system includes a light source configured to emit light directed at a target within a user, the target covered by a superficial layer, and an array of photodetectors configured to detect photons of the light after the light is scattered. The system further includes a processor configured to record, during a first and a second time period, a first and a second set of timestamp symbols, respectively, based on a first and a second subset of the array of photodetectors detecting a first subset of the photons that are scattered by the superficial layer and a second subset of the photons that are scattered by the target and the superficial layer, respectively. The processor is further configured to filter, based on the first set of histogram data, the second set of histogram data, and determine, based on the filtering, histogram data corresponding to the target.
