摘要: In accordance with presently disclosed embodiments, a hybrid drive system that uses multiple sources of mechanical energy to drive a pump is provided. The hybrid drive system may include a first mover for generating first mechanical energy, a pump, a drivetrain for providing first mechanical energy from the first mover to the pump, and a second mover within the drivetrain to generate and provide second mechanical energy to the pump. The multiple sources of mechanical energy may provide flexibility with respect to system design and allow for alternative sources of fuel and energy to be used to drive pumping systems. This may reduce the total diesel fuel consumption necessary to perform a well stimulation operation as well as provide for configurations in which diesel engines may be excluded from the pumping process in favor of alternative energy sources that typically do not have sufficient torque capacity to power a pump.

摘要: A positionable exhaust apparatus with an exhaust outlet having a first bore extending along a length of the exhaust outlet. The first bore having a longitudinal axis extending the length thereof and an exhaust outlet tip coupled to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip having a second bore with at least a portion of the second bore substantially aligned with the first bore of the exhaust outlet. An actuator coupled with the exhaust outlet and the exhaust outlet tip with at least a portion of the exhaust outlet tip to rotate the exhaust outlet tip relative to the exhaust outlet. 摘要: The abrupt cessation or run-away of a combustion engine may damage the combustion engine and pose a safety hazard to the surrounding environment. The combustion engine operational mode may be controlled, regulated or maintained by regulating the combustion mixture of the combustion engine. The oxidizer flow, a material or both of the combustion mixture may be regulate to create or form a combustion material that is outside a combustible range such that the combustion engine is placed or maintained in a spin-down operational mode. The material added to the combustion mixture may include a combustible, non-combustible, oxidizer, or exhaust material. A brake may also provide a secondary mechanism to maintain or place the combustion engine in a spin-down mode.

摘要: Certain conditions require powering down an engine driving a pump. During the down sequence the pump may continue pumping servicing fluid which may not be desirable. Activating one or more control valves may throttle or prevent the servicing fluid from being pumped from the pump during the power down sequence. Activation of an input control valve may introduce pressurized fluid into a cylinder of the pump extending a rod to force or maintain a suction valve in an open position. While the suction valve is in the open position, the stroke of the plunger may not create enough pressure to pump the servicing fluid causing the servicing fluid to flow between a fluid header and a chamber of the pump. Activation of an output control valve may divert servicing fluid pumped from the pump to a reservoir instead of to the desired location.
