摘要: Disclosed herein are a promoter (SEQ ID NO.: 1) inducing high level expression of a target gene in plant tissue cultured cells, derived from the sweetpotato gene of Ran GTPase, small GTP binding protein, a plant transformation vector for carrying the same and a method for expressing a foreign gene in plant cell using the vector. The activity of promoter according to the present invention is higher than that of universal CaMV 35S promoter in transgenic suspension cultured cell lines, calluses and adventitious roots. Thus, the promoter is useful in the generation of transgenic cell lines including cultured roots to produce valuable materials such as medicinal or industrial proteins in a large quantities with plant tissue cultured cells.

摘要: Provided is a method and system for confirming label switched path (LSP) connection in a global multi-protocol label switching (GMPLS)-based network. The method includes: collecting LSP hierarchy information; selecting one of a plurality of paths between first and second clients according to the LSP hierarchy information; and confirming the connection of the selected path.

摘要: There is provided a successive approximation analog-to-digital converter including only minimal capacitors to perform an analog-to-digital conversion operation, thereby making it possible to have very strong process change resistance characteristics while having reduced capacitance and circuit area. The successive approximation analog-to-digital converter may include a reference current supplying unit that supplies a reference current; a signal storage unit that stores a reference signal generated by charging the reference current and an input signal input from the outside; a comparing unit that compares the reference signal and the input signal; and a controller that controls the reference current supplying unit while generating the digital output signal based on the comparison result of the comparing unit to change the supply amount of the reference current supplied to the signal storage unit in proportion to the binary code.

摘要: A puncture, pierce, and cut resistant fabric comprised of a plurality of sheets of solid objects arranged in a repeating pattern. The solid objects are connected so that they are slideable relative to one another. Each sheet is in a stacked arrangement with the other sheets and are slideably interconnected to one another. Rivets are placed through apertures formed in or between the solid objects to hold the fabric together and to provide the slideable interconnection between the sheets. An interconnecting material interconnects the sheets of solid objects. An interconnecting material of elastomer returns the sheets from a stretched position to a compressed position. The fabric is formed with a means for limiting the movement of the solid objects relative to one another a predetermined amount, such as an elastomeric material inherently stretchable to a predetermined limit. The fabric is twistable, bendable, and stretchable. It is constructed of material that will withstand cutting, puncture, and piercing forces encountered in medical or other environments.

摘要: A puncture and cut resistant fabric comprised of identical platelets and rivets arranged into an array whereby the tops of adjacent platelets are reversed so that tabs on each platelet slidably engage with tabs of each adjacent platelet and are held in engagement by hooks depending from each tab and the rivets placed through apertures formed by the edges of the tabs. The fabric is twistable, bendable, and stretchable. It is constructed of material that will withstand cutting and piercing forces encountered in medical or other environments and is of thin walled construction to allow ease of use.

摘要: A plurality of cuff rings for an endotracheal tube for intubation of a trachea. At least one of the cuff rings is inflatable and deflatable independent of the other cuff ring so that at least one of the cuff rings may always remain inflated to maintain an airtight seal between the cannula of the endotracheal tube and a patient's trachea. Each cuff ring is successively inflated and deflated during the period the endotracheal tube is in a patient's trachea, thereby intermittently relieving the trachea of pressure on its inner wall. The intermittent relief of pressure by periodic deflation of each cuff ring reduces damage to the trachea. The cuff rings each have a surface associated therewith to lubricate the area of the trachea in contact with the cuff ring to substantially reduce the occurrence of damage to the trachea from abrasion by the cuff rings.
