    Abstract: An automotive busbar includes a first rigid section and a second rigid section, each of the first and second rigid sections formed from a first conductive metallic material and having a first effective cross-sectional area, and a flexible section positioned between and interconnecting the first and second rigid sections, the flexible section made from a second conductive metallic material and having a second effective cross sectional area, and a top surface and a bottom surface, at least one of the top and bottom surface including a plurality of voids formed therein and spaced along the flexible section, wherein, the second effective cross-sectional area is less than the first effective cross-sectional area and the second conductive material has a higher conductivity than the first conductive material.

    Abstract: A vehicle sound absorber system includes a sound absorber fixing fastener having a cap with a cylindrical bore and an end face including multiple flexible bite members. A sound absorber material body is locally compressed and partially captured within the cylindrical bore. A remainder of the sound absorber material body not captured within the cylindrical bore extends radially outward and freely away from the cap. A stud extending from a vehicle body wall extends through a through aperture created in the sound absorber material body and a sound absorber panel of an acoustic material mounted on the vehicle body wall. The cap is captured on the stud by frictional engagement of the flexible bite members on the stud. The sound absorbing material of the sound absorber material body replaces sound absorber material removed to form each of a recessed area and a fully compressed layer of the sound absorber panel.

    Abstract: A cover assembly including: first, second, and third substantially rectangular panel sections in a parallel relationship and the second panel being interposed between the first and third panels. The foldable cover assembly also includes the first, second, and third panels being pivotally connected such that the panels can fold in relation to one another so as to form the cover assembly into a triangular configuration or the panels can fold open to bring the panels to have a common plane. The foldable cover assembly also includes a fastening device for temporarily holding the cover assembly in the triangular configuration. The foldable cover assembly also includes where at least one of the panels having established thereon a hazard sign for signaling distress in situations involving motor vehicle traffic; and where the hazard sign can be directed towards the surrounding environment when the cover assembly is in the triangular configuration.

    Abstract: A storage bin for a vehicle includes a bottom wall, and a support wall extending vertically upward from the bottom wall. A reflective triangle is coupled to the support wall. The reflective triangle is moveable between a stored position adjacent the support wall, and a deployed position extending vertically upward from the support wall. The storage bin supports the reflective triangle, and positions the reflective triangle in an upright vertical position, a distance above the bottom wall, when the reflective triangle is disposed in the deployed position. The storage bin is removable from a vehicle to remotely position the reflective triangle relative to the vehicle.
