    摘要： A foot pedal irrigation system allows a physician or other operating person to control the flow of irrigation fluid to a diagnostic or therapeutic device without using the physician's hands. The system attaches to one or more bags of irrigation fluid and uses clamps on inlet and output tubing. The system may include a visual drip chamber to monitor fluid flow without applying pressure to a foot pump which is part of the system. When increased irrigation is desired, the physician presses with a foot on the foot pedal pump; one way valves assure the increased one-way flow of fluid from the pump to the diagnostic or therapeutic device.

    摘要： The claimed subject matter provides a system and/or a method that facilitates entering a character via an input device. An interface can receive a portion of input data from an input device, wherein the input data is at least one of an analog input from an analog directional input associated with the input device or a button input from a button associated with the input device. An enhanced input component can utilize a user interface (UI) overlay corresponding to the input device to select a character in which the UI overlay includes a segmented ring with each sector having two or more characters. The enhanced input component can enter a character for data entry based upon an analog directional input that selects a sector on the segmented ring and a button input that selects a corresponding character within the segment.

An alternative embodiment comprises a magnetic member contained by the hollow body that exerts a magnetic force on a pair of eyeglasses either directly or via an attached metallic strip.
