摘要: A computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to determine at least one of: a brake threat number of a host vehicle, a brake threat number of a target vehicle, a steering threat number, or an acceleration threat number and to actuate the host vehicle to change at least one of direction or speed based on at least one of the threat numbers. The brake threat number of the host vehicle is based on a predicted lateral distance between the host vehicle and the target vehicle. The brake threat number of the target vehicle is based on a velocity of the target vehicle adjusted by an acceleration of the target vehicle and an actuation time of a brake. The steering threat number is a lateral acceleration being a predicted lateral distance adjusted by an actuation time of a steering component. The acceleration threat number is based on a predicted lateral offset adjusted by a predicted heading angle of the host vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle and trailer display system is disclosed. The display system includes a plurality of imaging devices disposed on the vehicle, each having a field of view. The display system further includes a screen disposed in the vehicle operable to display images from the imaging devices. A controller is in communication with the imaging devices and the screen and is operable to receive a hitch angle corresponding to the angle between the vehicle and the trailer. Based on the hitch angle, the controller is operable to select a field of view of an imaging device to display on the screen.

摘要: A vehicle system for estimating a trailer length is disclosed. The system incorporates at least one sensor configured to measure a wheel steer angle and a trailer angle in communication with a processor. The processor is operable to determine a first length by a first computation method and determine a second length by a second computation method. The processor is further operable to validate an estimated trailer length based on the first length and the second length and perform a back-up function for the trailer based on the estimated trailer length.

摘要: An improved vision-based system generates object detection corresponding to different viewing areas based on vehicle speed. At lower vehicle speeds the system covers a wider field of view and a near zone while at higher vehicle speeds the system covers a normal or narrower field of view and a far zone. The system includes a lens package having a movable lens, an image sensor and image transformer. The movable lens is movable between a first position representing a wide angle view and a second position representing a normal angle view. Each of these views generates an image such that a wide angle view generates a wide angle image and a normal angle view generates a normal angle image. The wide angle view is associated with the vehicle's passive safety systems while the normal angle view is associated with the vehicle's active safety systems.

摘要: A first distance is determined between a location of a host vehicle and a received location of a remote vehicle, the remote vehicle being forward of the host vehicle. A second distance is determined between a target vehicle and the host vehicle. A time to reach is predicted between the target vehicle and the remote vehicle based on the first distance and the second distance. A brake of the host vehicle is pre-charged when the predicted time to reach is below a time threshold. Pre-charging of the brake of the host vehicle is suppressed when the predicted time to reach is above the time threshold.
