    Abstract: There is provided a lens device that prevents dust from entering a space in which a movable lens is moved. A movable lens is moved in the direction of an optical axis. A holding member, which extends in the direction of the optical axis, is formed at an end portion of the movable lens. A magnet is fixed to an end portion of the holding member. A hall IC is disposed in a closed storage space at a position facing the magnet. A signal, which corresponds to the position of the magnet in the direction of the optical axis, is output from the hall IC. Since the hall IC is disposed in the storage space closed by a storage box, the entry of dust, which is caused by the hall IC, into a space in which the movable lens is moved is prevented.

    Abstract: An object is to provide a lens system that can change the magnitude of torque required to rotate an operation ring according to the attachment/detachment of a drive unit to/from a lens barrel, the lens barrel, and the drive unit. When the drive unit is not mounted on the lens barrel, a torque adjustment mechanism works and a friction member presses the operation ring by a biasing force of a biasing member. When the drive unit is mounted on the lens barrel, a release member provided on the drive unit releases a bias, which is performed by the biasing member, by acting on the torque adjustment mechanism through a passage formed in a fixed ring.

    Abstract: A lens device includes a Hall IC detecting whether extender lenses are positioned on an optical axis or are retreated from the optical axis by rotating the extender lenses about a rotating shaft by a predetermined angle. An inner space of a lens barrel is divided into first to fourth spaces by a first plane passing through the rotating shaft and the optical axis and a second plane passing through the optical axis and perpendicular to the first plane.
