Abstract:
In a sensor assembly, a deformation body has two oppositely lying surfaces, an outer edge segment and a sensor blade extending from a surface outward. A protective apparatus protects the deformation body from pressure surges or abrupt changes of temperature on its surface. The protective apparatus includes at least one plate, extending radially inwardly so that a cavity is formed, which accommodates a region of the sensor blade adjoining the deformation body and remote from the distal end of the sensor blade, forming a gap between the plate and sensor blade. A sensor formed by the sensor assembly and a transducer element coupled therewith can be used for registering pressure fluctuations in a flowing fluid, such as steam having a temperature of 400 C and/or, a pressure of greater than 140 bar in order to measure flow parameters of the fluid.
Abstract:
A vortex flow transducer for measuring the flow velocity of a fluid flowing in a measuring tube as well as to a vortex flow sensor for the vortex flow transducer. In such case, the vortex flow sensor includes a housing having a central axis and a connecting section, on which a shoulder is embodied, which has a bearing area. In a plane of the shoulder a membrane is arranged, whose edge is positioned over the bearing area and is axially spaced therefrom. The vortex flow sensor includes, furthermore, a flange shaped support system having a radial edge section and a cylindrical axial section, wherein the radial edge section lies with its surface against the shoulder of the platform and the cylindrical axial section extends parallel to the central axis, so that the membrane is supported against the support system upon application of a predetermined pressure on the membrane.

Abstract:
The flow conditioner comprises a diffusor with a guide system arranged within its lumen, a flow rectifier with a disc shaped flow obstruction arranged within its lumen, wherein the flow obstruction has a plurality of flow openings, as well as a confusor, wherein diffusor, flow rectifier and confusor are connected fluidically in series to form a flow path extending from a flow opening of the diffusor to a flow opening of the confusor and involving the lumina of diffusor, flow rectifier and confusor. The guide system of the diffusor includes a sleeve shaped deflection means as well as a plurality of mutually separated connecting elements connected both with the deflection means as well as with the wall of the diffusor. The guide system is so formed and so positioned that the deflection means is spaced from the wall of the diffusor and arranged coaxially with the lumen of the diffusor.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a measurement tube including a tubular main body, which has a wall and a lumen, and a sensor holder, which is arranged on and integrally bonded to an outer lateral surface of the wall of the main body, opposite the lumen, the sensor holder configured to be mechanically connected to at least one sensor component for sensing at least one measurement variable of a measurement material located in the lumen. The sensor holder is at least partly produced by an additive manufacturing method directly on the lateral surface of the wall of the main body. In a method for producing such a measurement tube, liquefied material is applied to the outer lateral surface of the wall of the main body and allowed to resolidify there to form a part of the sensor holder, which part is integrally bonded to the wall of the main body.
Abstract:
The sensor assembly comprises: a bowl shaped, namely at least sectionally dished, membrane, with a curved surface and an oppositely lying surface; and a sensor blade extending from curved surface of the membrane. The membrane is so formed that at least one region of the curved surface adjoining the sensor blade is convex. A sensor formed by means of such a sensor assembly and by means of a transducer element coupled therewith and serving for generating a sensor signal representing movements of the sensor blade changing as a function of time and/or deformations of the membrane changing as a function of time, or a measuring system formed by means of the sensor and a measuring electronics connected thereto, can be used for registering pressure fluctuations in a flowing fluid, such as, for instance, a 400 C hot steam, for instance, in order to measure a flow parameter of the fluid.
Abstract:
A sensor assembly comprises a deformation body having two oppositely lying surfaces and an outer edge segment as well as a sensor blade extending from the surface to a distal end and having a left side, first lateral surface and a right side, second lateral surface. An overload protection apparatus extending from the edge segment to a distal end for protecting the deformation body against plastic, i.e. irreversible, deformation and having a support stirrup led with lateral separation around the sensor blade as well as two stops held by the support stirrup for limiting movement of the sensor blade, of which a first stop is located on the left side of the sensor blade and a second stop is located on the right side of the sensor blade. The stops are so dimensioned and arranged that an intermediate space formed therebetween receives only a portion (112a) of the sensor blade. The deformation body and the sensor blade are additionally adapted to be excited to execute oscillations about a shared static resting position and, in such case, to be moved relative to the overload protection apparatus, in such a manner that the sensor blade executes pendulum-like movements elastically deforming the deformation body. A sensor formed by means of such a sensor assembly as well as a transducer element coupled therewith and serving for generating a sensor signal representing movements of the sensor blade changing as a function of time and/or deformations of the deformation body changing as a function of time, and a measuring system formed by means of the sensor and a measuring electronics connected therewith can be used for registering pressure fluctuations in a flowing fluid, such as, for instance, a vapor or steam, at least at times having a temperature of 400 C and/or at least at times a pressure of greater than 140 bar, for instance, in order to measure flow parameters of the fluid.
