In an embodiment, the tunable filter includes a substrate having a first interconnection plane and a semiconductor device assembled on the substrate in a first component plane, the semiconductor device electrically connected to the first interconnection plane and containing tunable passive components. The filter further includes a control unit arranged in the first component plane, a dielectric layer arranged above the first component plane, a second component plane arranged on the dielectric layer and discrete passive devices arranged in the second component plane and interconnected with the semiconductor device, wherein the tunable passive components are tunable by the control unit.

    摘要: A front-end circuit with a tunable filter is disclosed. In an embodiment, the front end circuit includes a first signal path connected to an antenna connection, a first filter arranged in the first signal path, wherein the first filter is tunable within a first frequency range, and an extra signal path and a first fixed filter arranged therein, wherein the first fixed filter has a passband for an extra frequency band, wherein the first fixed filter is not tunable, and wherein the extra frequency band is arranged outside or inside the first frequency range. The front end circuit further includes a narrowband antenna tuner configured to be set to a respective tunable frequency range, wherein the narrowband antenna tuner is arranged between the first filter, the first fixed filter and the antenna connection in the first and second signal paths.

In an embodiment, the circuit includes a first antenna connection and first to third signal paths, each of which include a tunable filter and each of which is connected to the first antenna connection. The circuit further includes at least one phase shifter arranged in at least one of the signal paths between a respective filter and the first antenna connection and a control circuit configured to tune frequency bands of the filters, wherein the filters are operable in a FDD operating mode or a TDD operating mode, and wherein the front-end circuit is simultaneous operable in at least one transmission band and at least one reception band using all three filters and the associated signal paths.
