Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for routing control applied to a communication system including a CS domain and an IMS and in which a Routing Policy Decision-making Point (RPDP) is set; and the method includes: initiating a routing query to the RPDP by an interrogation network unit in the communication system upon receiving a service request; making a routing decision by the RPDP according to routing decision-making related information and the routing policy information, returning the routing decision to the interrogation networking unit by the RPDP; and performing subsequent routing control by the interrogation network unit according to the routing decision. Embodiments of the present invention also disclose a system for routing control. In accordance with the embodiments of the present invention, across-domain routing control is thus realized in different network application environments according to different demands.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for providing an online-charging to solve a problem that a related charging can not be processed correctly for a service involving simultaneously a CS domain and an IMS. The method includes: not invoking an online charging for the user in the CS domain when the user, who subscribes for the service involving simultaneously the CS domain and the IMS and the online charging service, originates or terminates a call in the CS domain; and performing the credit control in the CS domain and/or the IMS for the user in the IMS when the call of the user is processed through the IMS. The present invention also discloses a device and a system for an online credit control.
Abstract:
A method for controlling the charging of packet data service is disclosed, which includes: monitoring a number of event triggers; and when one of the event triggers is met, a TPF requesting charging rules from a CRF. In this way, the timing that the TPF requests charging rules from the CRF becomes controllable, and redundant information caused by the unnecessary charging rule from the TPF becomes avoidable, which enables interaction between the TPF and the CRF more effective and the charging control of packet data service reasonable and perfect.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for selecting a charging rule in connection with a subscriber. The method comprises: an AF providing a CRF with service information and user information used for selecting a charging rule; the CRF selecting a charging rule for the subscriber according to the user information and service information. The present invention also provides a system for selecting a charging rule in connection with subscriber. By this invention, the CRF, when selecting a charging rule, can select a charging rule in connection with different subscribers according to the user information and implement diversified charging based on different using situations of the same packet data service, which will attract subscribers to use packet data service, increase the using frequency of packet data service, and be conducive to the promotion and application of packet data service.
Abstract:
A method for controlling the charging of packet data service is disclosed, which includes: monitoring a number of event triggers; and when one of the event triggers is met, a Traffic Plane Function (TPF) requesting charging rules from a Charging Rule Function (CRF). In the preferred embodiments of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the event triggers, which the TPF is required for request charging rules from the CRF according to are set by the CRF and then are provided to the TPF. Charging-relevant input information is provided in the request, based on which the CRF determines proper charging rules and sends the determined charging rules to the TPF. In this way, the timing that the TPF requests charging rules from the CRF becomes controllable, and redundant information caused by the unnecessary charging rule from the TPF becomes avoidable, which enables interaction between the TPF and the CRF more effective and the charging control of packet data service reasonable and perfect.
Abstract:
A method for handling a Deferred Location Request, including: a Location Service (LCS) Client initiating a Deferred Location Request for a target UE to a Requesting-Gateway Mobile Location Center (R-GMLC), the R-GMLC forwarding the Deferred Location Request to a Home-GMLC (H-GMLC), the H-GMLC assigning a Reference Number for the Deferred Location Request, and sending the Deferred Location Request to a Core Network (CN) via a Visited-GMLC (V-GMLC); when a deferred event occurs, the CN submitting a target UE location report and the Reference Number to the H-GMLC via the V-GMLC, the H-GMLC returning the target UE location report to the LCS Client via the R-GMLC. Since the H-GMLC is the home GMLC of the target UE, the Reference Number assigned by the H-GMLC may ensure that different Deferred Location Requests initiated for a same target UE may be exclusively differentiated, such that Deferred Location Requests for the same target UE initiated by the LCS Client through different R-GMLCs may be normally processed, which effectively solves the conflict in the handling process of an LCS and satisfies the demands of service operations.
