In a method for processing contents of a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message, a SIP sender sends a SIP message, and a SIP network content processing entity sets the message contents of the SIP message based on an acquired management strategy for the message content. A network for processing contents of a SIP message is also provided. Message contents of the SIP message may thereby be changed in the SIP message in accordance with the user's will and the strategy of the operator.
Abstract:
A charging correlation method for an application or service is provided. The method may include: receiving a service identifier assigned for an application or service; and correlating Charging Data Records CDRs generated for the application or service based on the service identifier. A charging correlation system, a billing center and an apparatus are also provided. These method and apparatus may provide a simple charging correlation process for an application or service.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for reducing the load on Home Subscriber Server (HSS)'s interface. After receiving a request message from Serving Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) comprising the request for storing the name of the S-CSCF and for downloading the user's subscription information, HSS first stores the name of S-CSCF in the request message, then returns to the S-CSCF a response message comprising the user's subscription information. This invention simplifies the steps of inquiring about the user's subscription information, optimizes the service procedure, and reduces the load on HSS's interface. In addition, when receiving the inquiry message from I-CSCF, HSS returns directly to I-CSCF response message comprising the S-CSCF name and the S-CSCF capability information set that has the capability to meet the most strict service subscription requirement of the UE, further reducing the load on HSS's interface. This invention has no impact on the existing network architecture and services, nor is it needed to modify the existing interface specifications, thus being highly compatible and extendable.

Disclosed is a method for reducing the load of Traffic Plane Function (TPF). According to the obtained indication on whether to perform charging, the TPF determines whether to perform charging operation for the service data flow using appropriate charging rules, if yes, the TPF performs the charging operation for the counting result of the service data flow and submits the charging information to the charging associated entities; otherwise, the TPF does not perform the charging operation for the counting result of the service data flow. Operation in the TPF is optimized such that the TPF only needs to perform necessary charging instead of performing charging operation for the service data flow not needing to be charged. As a result, the load of the TPF and network devices are reduced, system efficiency is improved, and waste of network resources from various operator charging policies, e.g., free of charge policy, is avoided.

The present invention discloses a method of implementing UE capability exchange and a method of route control for parallel IMS and CS services in communication system, so as to distinguish among multiple UEs sharing a same IMPU during capability exchange and route control. Said method comprises: each of UEs involved in capability exchange sending its capability information to the opposite party respectively; the opposite party storing these information as well as the correlation between the information and the service ID; The UE including equipment ID of the opposite UE in an initiated service request; service control function entity in the network utilizing the equipment ID to query the established correlation among equipment ID, service ID, and address of the UE, so as to determine the address of the destination UE and route the service request to the destination UE. Said equipment ID identifies effectively a UE in the network.

A method of informing a network of a change of user equipment capability includes: stopping a registration timer on the user side set currently when the user equipment capability changes; sending a register request message carrying information of new user equipment capability to the network; analyzing, by the network, the register request message, and storing the information of new user equipment capability for reference by subsequent establishment of a session; stopping a current registration timer on the server side set for the user equipment; initiating a new registration timer on the server side for the user equipment; sending a response message carrying information of the new registration timer on the server side to the user equipment; resetting the registration timer on the user side based on information of the new registration timer on the server side in the response message. The capability change is informed to the network in time.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for interworking between Internet Protocol (IP) networks of. The method includes: judging whether the home network of a called UE supports the IP version of a calling UE, and forwarding a message sent from the calling UE to a home calling state control device of the called UE if yes, otherwise, performing an IP version transformation of the message and sending the message to the home calling state control device of the called UE; judging whether the called UE supports the IP version of the message, forwarding the message to the called UE if yes, otherwise, performing an IP version transformation of the message and sending the message to the called UE. The method and device can reduce unnecessary transformation between different IP versions and improve the interworking between IP networks when the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is employed.

A method, terminal, and system for soft-deleting, restoring, and synchronizing data are provided. The method for synchronizing data includes: synchronizing, by a server and a terminal, server data not marked as soft-deleted during data synchronization. The method for soft-deleting data includes: receiving, by a server, a soft deletion request from a terminal; and obtaining server data to be soft-deleted according to the soft deletion request and marking the server data as soft-deleted. With the embodiments of the present invention, the server marks the soft-deleted server data as soft-deleted. Thus, the server does not synchronize the soft-deleted server data back to the terminal during normal synchronization or slow synchronization. This avoids confused data management and ensures the normal running of the terminal.

A method for improving service data flow based charging and a system thereof are disclosed, A CRF may determine, according to input information provided by an AF or TPF, that the charging method for the current data flow service is an online or offline charging method, and provide the TPF with the charging rules with the corresponding mechanism. Moreover, the CRF may provide the TPF with the address information of an OCS or OFCS corresponding to the UE, to enable the TPF to address the corresponding OCS according to the address information of the OCS and trigger the following credit request procedure for the UE, or enable the TPF to address the corresponding OFCS according to address information of the OFCS and send collected charging data information of the UE to the OFCS. Therefore the charging procedure based on the FBC mechanism is more complete and more reasonable.
