    摘要: The control section of a control apparatus executes a first control for operating a voltage application section such as to cause a current to flow in a first direction through a gas sensor in a first period, and a second control for operating the voltage application section such as to cause a current to flow in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, through the gas sensor in a second period. The control apparatus changes the length of at least one of the first period and the second period based on a comparison between a first measurement value, which is the absolute value of a value measured by a sweep measurement section during execution of the first control, and a second measurement value, which is the absolute value of a value measured by the sweep measurement section during execution of the second control.

When a purge is executed, the total quantity of fuel to be injected by the fuel injection valve into the cylinder is reduced more than when the purge is not executed, and a fuel reduction quantity of the second injection is made smaller than a fuel reduction quantity of the first injection.

    摘要: An engine control device is provided, which includes a blowby gas passage connecting an engine body to an intake passage so that blowby gas leaked from a combustion chamber is recirculated to the intake passage, a boost pressure changer configured to change a boost pressure of a turbocharger, and a controller configured to set a target boost pressure and control the boost pressure changer. The turbocharger includes a turbine which is provided to an exhaust passage and driven by exhaust gas, and a compressor which is provided to the intake passage and rotary driven by the turbine to boost intake air. The blowby gas passage is connected to the intake passage near the compressor. The controller corrects the target boost pressure when an ambient temperature is below a given determination temperature, to be higher than the target boost pressure when the ambient temperature is at or above the determination temperature.

    摘要: A control method of a turbocharged engine includes: a bypass passage bypassing a compressor; and a bypass valve configured to open and close the bypass passage. The method includes: a compressor flow rate predicting step of predicting a flow rate of air flowing through the compressor after a predetermined time; a compressor pressure ratio detecting step of detecting a pressure ratio of the compressor; a surging determining step of determining whether or not surging occurs after the predetermined time, in reference to preliminary prepared surging determination data based on the compressor predicted flow rate and the compressor pressure ratio; and a bypass valve controlling step of opening the bypass valve when it is determined in the surging determining step that the surging occurs and closing the bypass valve when it is determined in the surging determining step that the surging does not occur.
