摘要: A rotor has a plurality of magnetic poles each including one of permanent magnets and one of outer core portions. Each of the outer core portions has a radially outer surface that has an arc shape such that the radially outer surface becomes closer to a rotation axis of the rotor as it extends from a magnetic-pole center of the magnetic pole toward both sides in a circumferential direction. A reference circle is defined which has a diameter equal to a maximum diameter of the rotor core and centers on the rotation axis. An outer circumferential surface of the rotor core has, at intersections between the arc-shaped radially outer surfaces of the outer core portions, maximum displacement portions that are most displaced from the reference circle radially inward. A displacement amount of the maximum displacement portions from the reference circle is smaller than a maximum thickness of the permanent magnets.

摘要: A rotor includes a plurality of rotor units disposed side by side in an axial direction. The plurality of rotor units each include a rotor core, a plurality of permanent magnets, a plurality of magnetic pole sections and a plurality of magnetic pole bordering sections. At least one of the rotor units has a displacement portion in an outer circumferential surface of the rotor core. The displacement portion is displaced radially inward from respective magnetic pole centers of a circumferentially adjacent pair of the magnetic pole sections toward the magnetic pole bordering section between the pair of the magnetic pole sections. The displacement portion is disposed corresponding to at least one of the magnetic pole bordering sections. The magnetic pole centers of at least one of the rotor units are offset in the circumferential direction with respect to the magnetic pole centers of another of the rotor units.

摘要: A rotor includes: a rotor core including a plurality of core sheets that are laminated together and having a plurality of magnet-receiving holes formed in a folded shape; and a plurality of permanent magnets embedded respectively in the magnet-receiving holes. Each of the core sheets has a plurality of first through-holes and a plurality of second through-holes. Each of the first through-holes has a connection portion formed at an intermediate position in the folded shape of a corresponding one of the magnet-receiving holes to connect inner peripheral edges of the first through-hole that face each other in a width direction of the first through-hole. Each of the second through-holes has no connection portion. The core sheets are identical in configuration to each other. The core sheets are laminated so that each of the magnet-receiving holes is constituted of a mixture of the first and second through-holes of the core sheets.
