Abstract:
A collision detection device on a motor vehicle for tracking a remote target vehicle for the detection of an imminent collision by fusing radar sensor data from a first environment sensor designed as a radar sensor with sensor data from a second environment sensor. First wheel acquisition data based on the radar sensor data from the first environment sensor and second wheel acquisition data based on sensor data from the second environment sensor are merged and a parameter of the target vehicle is established.
Abstract:
A device and a method for detecting an erroneous determination of a geographical position of a vehicle. The device includes a sensor that is configured to determine a first yaw rate of the vehicle, a satellite navigation receiver that is configured to receive satellite signals during a predetermined time period, to determine a multiplicity of geographical positions of the vehicle on the basis of the received satellite signals, and to determine a geographical reference position of the vehicle on the basis of the multiplicity of geographical positions, and a processor that is configured to determine a second yaw rate of the vehicle on the basis of the determined geographical reference position of the vehicle, and to compare the first yaw rate with the second yaw rate in order to detect the erroneous determination of the geographical position of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A method for determining a position of a unit by satellite navigation, wherein the position is determined solely by Doppler measurements. Further, an associated control module and an associated data storage medium are disclosed.

Abstract:
A position determination method in a vehicle, which uses signals from a pressure-based collision sensor. In addition, an associated electronic control module and an associated use.
Abstract:
A device and a method for determining an absolute angular position of a wheel of a vehicle. A wheel unit is mounted on the wheel side and configured to determine data which permit a reference limb of the wheel, and to wirelessly transmit the acquired data. A receiver unit is mounted on the vehicle side and receives the data of the wheel unit. A reference limb-determining device determines the reference limb of the wheel on the basis of the received data. A measuring device generates, in each case, one signal when the wheel rotates by a previously determined angle, and a counting device counts the signals generated by the measuring device. An angle-determining device determines an absolute angular position of the wheel on the basis of the signals counted by the counting device, and on the basis of the specific reference limb.

Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for assessing a position of a vehicle are described herein. The disclosure proposes ascertaining a first absolute position utilizing a conventional GNSS receiver. This is to be compared with a second absolute position, which is ascertained in a secure safety unit or a secure ASIL-compatible chip, and is therefore always plausible.
