Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to determining a first radio as a downlink for transmitting data frames from a first wireless endpoint device to second wireless endpoint devices, determining a second radio as an uplink for transmitting data frames from the second wireless endpoint devices to the first wireless endpoint device, enabling transmissions of data frames from the second wireless endpoint devices to the first wireless endpoint device on the uplink, detecting a first data frame with a latency requirement to be transmitted from the first wireless endpoint device to a targeted second wireless endpoint device, replacing any data frame not associated with a latency requirement in an aggregated MAC protocol data unit with the first data frame, and transmitting the first data frame to the targeted second wireless endpoint device on the downlink.

Abstract: The present technology allows coordination of channels of private wireless networks utilizing shared licensed and unlicensed spectrum. Wireless network operators in an enterprise location register to participate in a consortium and register licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources to be shared with other members of the consortium. The wireless network operators request an allocation of spectrum resources from the consortium. The consortium generates a radio resource management (“RRM”) plan for shared use of the licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum resources. The consortium combines the allocated licensed, shared, and unlicensed spectrum from each of the wireless network operators to meet the target RRM plan. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization to dynamically update the RRM. The consortium monitors spectrum utilization in real time to determine how closely the RRM plan matches the resources allocated to each wireless network operator.

Abstract: Devices, systems, methods, and processes for pre-association sounding executed between a user device and a network device are described herein. The user device may announce its pre-association sounding capability to the network device. The network device, also supporting pre-association sounding, may transmit a plurality of sounding frames to the user device. The user device may process the plurality of sounding frames, determine channel state information (CSI), and transmit the CSI to the network device. The plurality of sounding frames and the CSI may be exchanged between the user device and the network device prior to the user device associating with the network device. By the time the user device associates with the network device, the network device may already have the CSI required for beamforming one or more transmissions towards the user device. Thus, latency overheads associated with sounding are reduced by performing pre-emptive sounding while in a pre-association state.

Abstract: Improved granularity of Coordination Groups (CGs) using sectorization may be provided. A plurality of sectors around a plurality of Access Points (APs) may be determined. Then, for each of the plurality of APs, it may be determined which sector client devices associated with each of the plurality of APs are in. Next, each of the plurality of APs may be caused to transmit to client devices in a first one of the plurality of sectors.

Abstract: Differential time synchronization and scheduling may be provided. A first Access Point (AP) may wirelessly receive time-base translation parameters of a second AP. The first AP and the second AP may be neighboring. Next, a first transmission schedule for the first AP and a second transmission schedule for the second AP may be maintained. Then the second transmission schedule for the second AP may be translated into a time-base of the first AP based on the time-base translation parameters of the second AP. Then the first AP may transmit based upon the first transmission schedule for the first AP and the translated second transmission schedule for the second AP.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for selecting network protocols using heatmaps. For instance, a system may receive radio frequency information from one or more sources located within an environment. The system may then generate heatmaps using the radio frequency information, where the heatmaps represent characteristics associated with different network protocols. The characteristics may include signal strengths, throughputs, data packet drop rates, data packet retry rates, and/or the like for various locations within the environment. A user device may then receive the heatmaps from the system. Using a location of the user device and the heatmaps, the user device may determine to communicate using a network protocol from the different network protocols. The user device may then establish a connection using the network protocol.
