    Abstract: Presented herein are techniques to implement end-to-end encryption. A method includes, encrypting content C with an encryption key EK to obtain encrypted content C′, generating a key encrypting key KEK based on a password, encrypting the encryption key EK with the key encrypting key KEK to obtain an encrypted encryption key EK′, storing the encrypted content C′ and the encrypted encryption key EK′ such that the encrypted content C′ and the encrypted encryption key EK′ are accessible to a content consumer via a link, sending the link and the password to the content consumer, and in response to a request, received via the link, for the encrypted content C′ and the encrypted encryption key EK′, sending the encrypted content C′ and the encrypted encryption key EK′ to the consumer based on the content consumer being on an access control list.

    Abstract: Improved virtual collaboration environments allow participants in a primary collaboration session to initiate side conversations with fellow participants based on virtual locations of each participant within a virtual collaboration layout. The virtual collaboration layout defines virtual locations of each participant in the collaboration session. If a virtual distance between two participants a below a threshold, the participants are able to engage in a side conversation. Management information is provided to a collaboration session host. The management information indicates, for example, a volume or frequency of communication occurring on each side conversation, or an elapsed time since the side conversation was initiated. The host is also provided with controls that allow the host to issue a warning to side conversation participants, to mute the side conversation, or to change a participant's position within the virtual collaboration layout, thus changing the participant's eligibility to participate in the side conversation.

    Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for applying a dynamic security policy to shared content in collaborative applications. A selection of one or more content items is received for sharing in a communication session. A security policy is queried using a key that is associated with each of the one or more content items to determine a security policy for each of the one or more content items. A plurality of users participating in the communication session are identified. Each content item of the one or more content items is selectively presented to a subset of the plurality of users based on an identity of a respective user and the security policy of each content item.
