Abstract:
A transmission assembly for an electric vehicle includes a transmission having an input shaft, an output shaft, and a gear train coupled between the input shaft and the output shaft. A motor includes an output coupled to the input shaft of the transmission. A motor controller is electrically connected to the motor and controls a rotating speed of the motor. A gear controller is electrically connected to the motor controller. The gear controller outputs a speed request signal to the motor controller, and the motor controller controls the rotating speed of the motor based on the speed request signal, allowing smooth engagement between the gear train and the output shaft.

Abstract:
According to the invention, techniques for visualizing customer data contained in databases, data marts and data warehouses. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention provides a method for graphically analyzing relationships in data from one or more data sources of an enterprise. The method can be used with many popular visualization tools, such as On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools and the like. The method is especially useful in conjunction with a meta-model based technique for modeling the enterprise data. The enterprise is typically a business activity, but can also be other loci of human activity. Embodiments according to the invention can display data from a variety of sources in order to provide visual representations of data in a data warehousing environment.
Abstract:
The present invention provides techniques for managing and analyzing business information. Specific embodiments provide persons with business or other non-technical fields with the capability to create, edit, and work with data models, profiles, and reports for business and other information. Specific embodiments can enable business and other non-technical users with enhanced understanding of information, and greater capabilities to manipulate relationships between various data entities in databases, for example.

Abstract:
A system and method provides dynamic and static type support for multiple definitions of individual types in a distributed object environment. Fully scoped object names incorporating prefixes are used to distinguish objects. The fully scoped names are used for both dynamic type determination through an interface repository and for statically compiled types in client and server stub routines. In the interface repository, a prefix naming context is provided for each root interface definition language context, allowing multiple definitions for objects with the same interface definition language object name, where each such definition resides in a separate prefix naming context. In one embodiment, the prefix naming contexts are defined by prefix interface definition objects. In another embodiment, the fully scoped object names are embedded by an interface definition language compiler in stub and skeleton code routines. RRS.
Abstract:
A minus-pressured bandage includes a coverage layer, a minus-pressed acting member, an adhering layer and a fixing tap. The coverage layer includes a through-hole to be connected to a minus-pressured device. The minus-pressed acting member includes a fixed-shaped layer and a contact layer abutting with the fixed-shaped layer. The contact layer is made of a resilient material. The fixed-shaped layer has hardness greater than that of the contact layer. Each of the fixed-shaped layer and contact layer has a plurality of first absorbing holes and a plurality of second absorbing holes aligned with the first absorbing holes. The adhering layer is porous and abuts between the coverage layer and the fixed-shaped layer. The fixing tap is arranged on the coverage layer in order to fasten the minus-pressured bandage on the wound. In this arrangement, a minus-pressured suction applied to the wound may be increased to facilitate capillary angiogenesis.
Abstract:
According to the invention, techniques for organizing information from systems in a data warehousing environment are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention provides a method for analyzing data from one or more data sources of an enterprise. The method provides a meta-model based technique for modeling the enterprise data. The enterprise is typically a business activity, but can also be other loci of human activity. Embodiments according to the invention can translate data from a variety of sources to particular database schema in order to provide organization to a data warehousing environment.
Abstract:
According to the invention, techniques for organizing information from systems in a data warehousing environment are provided. In a particular embodiment, the invention provides an apparatus for analyzing data in at least data source of an enterprise. The apparatus can include a meta model for an enterprise. The enterprise is typically a business activity, but can also be other loci of human activity. A data schema derived from the meta model can also be part of the apparatus. The apparatus can also include a database organized according to the data schema. The apparatus can translate data from a variety of sources to the data schema. The apparatus can incorporate data into the database and perform a variety of analyses on the data in the database.
Abstract:
A pressure bandage comprises a banding portion, a container received a fluid and a fixing member. The container has a first and a second connecting portions, and the first and second connecting portions are respectively protruded from the opposite sides of the banding portion. At least one check valve is mounted in at least one of the first and second connecting portions for delivering the fluid into the container. The fixing member is adapted to fix the banding portion to a treatment part.
